Mayausiy Shrine Location

The Mayausiy Shrine can be found in the northern portion of the Tabantha region, close to the border between Hyrule and Hebra. I consider this an early-game Shrine because some NPCs nudge you to go to Hebra (i.e., northwest) as part of the main quest. Though, it’s possible you’ll come here later.

Along the road, you’ll pass by New Serenne Stable, where an NPC named Impa will tell you about the Geoglyphs. As you’re doing this quest, you’ll be led to the Forgotten Temple. In it, you’ll stumble upon the Mayausiy Shrine.

TotK Mayausiy Shrine Building Blocks Puzzle Walkthrough

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Building Blocks puzzle for the Mayausiy Shrine is something akin to Tetris. There’s a half-completed structure to your right, and you’ll need to place objects that will fill in the gaps. Doing so will make that structure look like the finished version on the left.

First Building Blocks Puzzle Solution

For the first TotK Building Blocks puzzle, you’ll see a couple of L-shaped blocks. Simply use Ultrahand to flip and rotate them, making them look like short 7s instead. You can then place these on the structure to complete the design.

Second Mayausiy Shrine Puzzle Solution

You’ll have to fight a Zonai Construct prior to reaching the Tears of the Kingdom Mayausiy Shrine Building Blocks puzzle. Once you defeat the Construct, you’ll see three objects that you can manipulate using Ultrahand. Here’s what you need to do:

  • To get the chest, combine or attach some of the blocks to reach the higher ledge. You may also use the Ascend ability.
  • For the structure itself, take the Z-shaped block and place it in the left-hand corner (if you’re facing the exit).
  • Place the L-shaped block in the right corner.
  • That leaves the skewed T-shaped block. You can rotate it so it fills the gap between the two.

Once you’ve done the above, the doorway will open. This will complete the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Building Blocks puzzle for the Mayausiy Shrine. There are more than 150 other Shrine puzzles in TotK. For more tips and walkthroughs, visit our Zelda: TotK guides hub.
