The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Midair Perch solution will have you moving Zonai blocks with your Ultrahand ability in the Ihen-a Shrine, which you’ll stumble during your main questline in Zora’s domain. Here’s our complete guide for the Midair Perch Ihen-a Shrine puzzle solution.

The Ihen-a Shrine can be located on Ploymus Mountain, next to Mipha Court. It’s near Zora’s Domain and the exact coordinates are 3787, 0577, 0486.

TotK Midair Perch Ihen-a Shrine Walkthrough

You’ll be leaping across little platforms for this one. I found the overall puzzle to be relatively straight forward — until the end, when there’s a couple ways to tackle your exit. Here’s what you need to do:

• When you enter the puzzle, you’re going to see some Zonai platforms floating. Grab one with your Ultrahand and move it in front of the upper platform so that you can use it to get up, as shown above.

• When you enter the next room, you’ll see another Zonai platform, but it’s not powered on. Hit it with your primary weapon so that it’ll float.
• With your Ultrahand ability, attach the large metal piece leaning against the left wall to the Zonai platform.
• Move the combined structure to the gap in front of you so that it forms a bridge, as shown above.
• Once you make it across, grab the bridge with your ultrahand and rotate it so that it forms a ramp.
• Place the ramp between the next gap, as shown above.

How to Get the Ihen-a Midair Perch Treasure Chest

• This chest is pretty easy to get compared to some other Shrines. You’ll find it on the ledge to the left of the room’s entrance.
• When you enter the next room you’ll see various Zonai platforms floating, get your Ultrahand ready.
• Simply create a stepping stone-like platform, as shown above.
• Carefully jump on each one sequentially to reach the chest, it’ll contain 5 Arrows.

• Now that you’ve got the treasure chest, head back to the main area. You’ll see a small orb. Grab it with your Ultrahand ability and attach it to one of the Zonai platforms.
• Move the Orb platform in front of the cube that juts out from the wall, as shown above.
• Hit the glowing gold pillar to activate the cube. It’ll push the Orb platform all of the way to the other side of the room.

Now you have two options, one requires arrows and one doesn’t. You can build a bridge with floating platforms, as shown above, and join the orb on the other side; or you can do my preferred choice, which is as follows:

• With your Ultrahand move another Zonai platform to be in front of the cube.
• Jump on the Zonai platform and shoot the golden pillar with an Arrow. You should have some from the treasure chest.
• Once you arrive on the other side, detach the orb from its platform with your Ultrahand and drop it in the target.
• You can now exit and receive your Light of Blessing!
