Treasure of the Gerudo Desert Riddle in TotK

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Treasure of the Gerudo Desert comes from Riju in Gerudo Town. It’ll only be available upon completion of the Gerudo Regional Phenomena main quest. If you’re already finished with that main quest, talk to Riju in the throne room to hear this riddle:

“Seek out the swordswoman upon the sand and look to where she points. There is treasure waiting underground.”

Treasure of the Gerudo Desert and Vah Naboris Divine Helm Location in TotK

Based on the clue, we need to look for statues that point toward a certain direction. As shown on the map above, the location is in the northeastern portion of the desert.

Essentially, when you leave Gerudo Town, you’ll notice statues of female warriors pointing to a spot in the distance, usually leading to another statue. I’d liken it to the quests in the Depths, when I headed to mines where Master Kohga was waiting. In any case, you’ll see ruins below a giant beast’s skeleton upon arriving at the location. The coordinates are: -4664, -1989, 0025.

Break open the obstacle so you can squeeze through the small opening. Down below, you’ll notice that several sections are blocked off by boulders. Take note of where the warrior statues are pointing, as those are the spots that you need to demolish. You can use Bomb Flowers or two-handed blunt weapons for this task. However, I prefer casting Riju’s ability or Yunobo’s ability to avoid wasting materials.

After destroying the obstacles, you’ll eventually discover a chest. Open it to receive the Vah Naboris Divine Helm. This also completes the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Treasure of the Gerudo Desert quest.
