TotK Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes Riddle

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes quest comes from Bludo, an NPC in Goron City. It will only become available once you’ve completed the Eldin Regional Phenomena main quest. Now, if you do meet this requirement, talk to Bludo to hear about this riddle:

“One brother hunts what the other brother hides; two lizards fighting over what’s inside.”

The clue, and Lizard Lakes itself, pertains to the lizard-shaped body of water in the northeastern portion of Eldin (as shown on the map above). The coordinates are: 2187, 3105, 0399.

Make your way to the area and go to the lizard’s “head.” There, you’ll notice a cavern with a blocked off entrance. You can use Bomb Flowers to demolish the stones. However, I suggest casting Yunobo’s or Riju’s ability. I feel that Sage Companion abilities are better since I didn’t need to waste materials.

In any case, continue to the end of the tunnel and you’ll spot a chest. Open it to receive the Vah Rudania Divine Helm. This completes the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes quest.

Vah Rudania Divine Helm Stats and Effects

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Vah Rudania Divine Helm has the following stats and effects:

  • +2 armor rating/defense
  • Flame Guard – This is particularly useful since there are areas in Eldin and the Depths that are close to volcanoes or boiling hot lava.
  • Yunobo Sage – If worn, then Yunobo’s Sage specter will also equip this as a matching gear piece.
