Best Hunter Weapons in Midnight Ghost Hunt
- Best Gadgets: Pathfinder, Radar, Vacuum, Trap
- Best Perk: Quick Reload
This semi-auto beam weapon is an excellent choice for tracking and shooting ghosts that use Spirit and Shatterproof abilities.
The fire rate on this thing is great, and it can easily deal with a whole group of ghosts. But you will also need the Quick Reload perk, since you can't afford to slow down when the hunt gets messy.
On top of that, Spectral Cannon has some splash damage, and overall it is an easy to use weapon that even beginners can quickly get the grip of.
- Best Gadgets: Grenade, Trap
- Best Perk: Extended Mag
Salt Shotgun is a very powerful weapon, but only at close range. That's why you need to combine it with grenades for long range offense.
This double-barrel shotgun hits ghosts for a huge amount of damage, as well as knocks them back. You can use this factor to knock them back into traps in the heat of the moment.
- Best Gadgets: Grenade, Trap, Medkit
- Best Perk: Juggernaut
If you don't want to bother with magazines and reloading times, then Project X minigun can save you from all that. The only thing that you need to watch out is for Project X not to overheat.
Other than that, you get an excellent damage with high rate of fire that increases even further the longer you shoot. This is a perfect ghost assault weapon that can be well used with Trap gadgets.
- Best Gadgets: Trap, Radar, Vacuum
- Best Perk: Extra Gear
This submachine gun is not made to deal damage, rather it's better for freeze props and make ghosts inhabiting them have a bad time. Though, it can certainly deal some damage.
Another great thing a Frostbite player can do is eliminate objects with Corruptor, and thus prevent them from blowing up.
Once the object is fully frozen, you can start dealing damage to it, which is a great way to catch fleeing ghosts.
- Best Gadgets: Trap, Pathfinder, Vacuum
- Best Perk: Lightweight
Here is another weapon that is really fun when combined with almost any other gun, and is easily one of the best hunter weapons in Midnight Ghost Hunt.
The Harpoon Bazooka shoots out a harpoon with a chain attached to it, that allows you to pull in ghosts and let your teammates easily finish the job.
Having a Lightweight perk would be great in this case, as it allows you to be more effective while chasing all the fleeing ghosts, and harpooning them in the process.
- Best Gadgets: Trap, C4
- Best Perk: Extra Gear
A sniper rifle such as Reaper can be useful in two types of situations: long range sniping of a single ghost, or luring a group of ghosts either into a trap or a C4 pile.
This rifle shoots with special energized darts that stick to ghosts, dealing damage and then exploding for even more damage. It's pretty killer!
- Best Gadgets: Radar, Vacuum
- Best Perk: Healing Aura
The Flamethrower may not be precise like the Reaper, but when you need to quickly clear a room, then nothing comes close and puts this near the top of the best hunter weapons under the right circumstances.
You don't even need to know the exact location of a ghost. Just use your Radar gadget, and start throwing flames all around you as soon as you hear the beeping. There is a big chance that one of the props will turn out to be a ghost in disguise.
Just be aware to not use it alongside Frostbite, since the flames remove the freezing effect on the props.
