Radscorpions are the irradiated, giant brethren of modern day scorpions in Fallout 76. With giant pincers and a poison stinger to match, many wanderers have fallen to their death from these mutated creatures. For those looking to brave Appalachia to hunt them, here is where you can find Radscorpions in Fallout 76 and how to kill them.

Since Radscorpions are spawned creatures, there are only a couple places in the Wasteland they will always spawn. They tend to appear in a group of four or more, so be prepared before you head out.

  • Smith Farm
  • Carleton Mine (before and after the “Cheating Death” quest)

Radscorpions can also spawn in the following areas:

  • Middle Mountain Cabins
  • The Freak Show
  • Graninger Farm

  • The garden area between the Whitespring Resort and the Whitespring Golf Club
  • Kiddie Corner Cabins

How to Kill Radscorpions

Radscoripons have high defense with their natural carapace. They can be hard to aim at due to their high mobility. Along with traveling in groups, Radscorpions have the ability to tunnel underground and ambush you from below. So how do you kill one?

You will want to use some form of armor piercing bullets, such as the Tank Killer perk. Fast reloads, fast shooting and large ranges will aid in keeping you away from your target while still doing damage.

Get to a tall, safe space away from ground where you can be ambushed and boost your stats with chems, food and drinks. Damage over time, such as fire, can also help, as well as debuffing them with a syringer.

Radscorpion Loot Drops

  • Radscorpion Meat

Glowing Radscorpion Drops
