There are 8 Gold Coins in Pirate Goo Lagoon. Here is the location of each one.

This gold coin location is in a cave hidden in Scurvy Swamp. You’ll see a wall of blocks with two explosive blocks hiding the entrance to a cave. Once inside, you’ll see that you can use your karate kick to navigate across the body of water to where the coin is taunting you at the end of the gauntlet.

This next coin is in Scurvy Swamp, near the exit of the section. Opposite the big ship, there’s a high ledge opposite the ship with a grate that leads to a hidden cage. You’ll be able to see the coin in there just passing through. Ground pound the lock, and you’ll find yourself in the same room as the coin.

In Bongo Beach, head to the final section you need to hit before moving on. It is located in the back left of the area. After destroying the lifeguard tower and turning it into a bridge, don’t follow the bounce pads. Instead, turn right to discover a grate that you must ground pound to find the next gold coin.

You can find this coin collectible in Port Jelly Royal. It is floating on a building rooftop near the checkpoint. However, you’ll have to go all the way down the other side of the street to reach the bounce pad to launch you up to the roof. From there, navigate your way around and across to the coin before dropping down to fight the enemies down and to your right.

This gold coin is in the second town in Port Jelly Royal. You need to use the bounce pad to get up to the roofs. From there, the gold coin is on the rooftop opposite you. Unfortunately, the distance is too far for SpongeBob to glide, so you’ll have to take him the long way. Follow the path of floating blocks and eventually, you’ll wind up on the other side of the rootops. Now hop across them until you reach the coin on the third building.

After the Musical Mermaid checkpoint, there will be a swing hook and some wooden platforms to your right. Navigate around to the island it leads to. There will be a coin hidden underneath a grate you can now super ground pound to open.

This coin can be found when you are on the teetering ship. To the left of the ship at the front is a wooden cage hiding a floating tiki block. Jump on it, and follow the path of tiki blocks to the coin that is waiting for you on a piece of the shipwrecked mast.

The last coin in Pirate Goo Lagoon is right before the slingshot to the Admiral Prawn encounter. From the Prawn checkpoint, go across the wood planks to another small island with a grate you can now ground pound to access the coin.
