Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Weapons Guide
In Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, you start as a new player to the "VRMMO" Gun Gale Online. Being a mishmash of MMORPG stats and shooter elements, this game actually lends towards a lot of different playstyles depending on which weapons you want to specialize with and bring into battle.
There are a bunch of different weapons to play with, and they each have their own strengths and weaknesses. Of course, I recommend trying each of the weapons out before you decide to settle with any of them, but it can still be a little hard to pick with so many good options. To that end, we've put together some information about each of the weapon classes in hopes that it makes the decision easier.
Let's dive in!
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Weapons Guide
There are plenty of playstyles in Gun Gale Online to synergize with your weapons of choice. You could build up your strength and play with heavy artillery such as Launchers and Gatling Guns, or pump up your Agility and weave around the battlefield with nothing but your trusty Sword and a Handgun. You can even mix and match odd combos of weapons to come out with some truly unique playstyles. So long as you keep each weapon's strengths and weaknesses in mind, you could make any playstyle work for you.
A Handgun's charm is in its simplicity. First to note is they tend to be lightweight, which lends well to characters that don't have a lot of strength. They also have a decent fire rate, but they don't typically have that big of a clip size, nor do they pack that much of a punch. They do typically have a decent accuracy and medium range to make up for it, though. They can even be wielded alongside Swords if you so chose to use them.
The Shotgun is a great friend to anyone who likes to get up close and personal. They are generally heavy, have a really short range, are slow to fire, and have a small clip size. However, what they lack in utility, they make up for in raw power. It can be a little dangerous to get close enough to be effective with a Shotgun, but the satisfaction of mowing through your enemies is well worth it.
A Submachine Gun usually boasts decent firepower at a quick fire rate and a decent clip size. They're not as accurate as Handguns, however, and often wind up being a bit heavier, but the spray of firepower more than makes up for it. Submachine Guns are well suited for players who like run and gun combat strategies.
An Assault Rifle is known for its ability to fire off a bunch of rounds in a short span of time. Similar to the Submachine Guns, they tend to have a decent clip size and fire rate, however, Assault Rifles generally boast better range and accuracy at the cost of being a bit heavier overall, making them a fantastic all-purpose weapon to use in almost any situation.
A Sniper Rifle is a powerful but slow weapon who's real strengths come from their long effective range and razor sharp accuracy. They are heavy and unwieldy weapons, and you certainly wouldn't want to swing them around in the middle of combat with their low clip sizes and firing rate. However, if you're patient, you can take out plenty of enemies before they even know you're there with a Sniper Rifle at your side.
Gattling Guns are really large and heavy weapons that deal damage by firing a lot of bullets off in rapid succession. They have some of the best firing rates and clip sizes in the game, and an effective range that rivals that of some Sniper Rifles. However, the big hulking weapon does suffer from low accuracy, so you'll have to be thoughtful about where you're aiming it. This weapon is a great pick for anyone who just wants to hold down the trigger and watch their foes fall before their feet.
The Launcher fires Rockets at enemies to create massive explosions on the battlefield. They're heavy weapons and generally have abysmally low clip sizes. They're slow to fire, they don't have much of an effective range to speak of, and they aren't even very accurate. If this weapon didn't literally fire exploding Rockets, it wouldn't have any redeeming qualities whatsoever. Using a Launcher is great when you need to control the situation on the battlefield in a pinch -- or if you simply find yourself in need of some good old fashioned explosives.
Swords are ... well, they're Swords. You can't actually compare them to the guns because they have a completely different function. Instead of firing bullets, you're swinging around a weapon that does decent damage. The upside? You don't need bullets. The downside? You have to literally be in your enemy's face in order to deal damage. Swords are an awkward choice for a shooter, but in the right hands, they can slice through enemy ranks with relative ease.
