All Village Chapters

  • Chapter 1 to Chapter 4
    • These initial Resident Evil 4 Remake chapters are where you’ll gradually learn the game’s basic mechanics as Leon Kennedy. You’ll also fight Chainsaw Guy, discover some key concepts, such as collectibles, health upgrades (via Yellow Herbs), and puzzle-solving. It’s where you’ll encounter the Cave Shrine Puzzle and be able to find Red9.
  • Chapter 5 to Chapter 6
    • This is when you’ll meet Ashley Graham, the president’s daughter, and the reason why you’re here in the god-forsaken village. These chapters focus primarily on teaching you how to play Ashley’s escort missions.

All Castle Chapters

  • Chapter 7 to Chapter 9
  • Chapter 10 to Chapter 12
    • Halfway through Chapter 10, Leon will end up in the underground section of the Castle, which he’ll be able to escape in Chapter 12. You won’t be able to return to the underground portion after this. However, you can freely explore and revisit parts of the Castle as long as you don’t head to the top of the Clock Tower.
