The “Shocking” challenge asks you to smash 20 solar panels in under 30 seconds. While this isn’t necessarily a difficult challenge, it still may be tricky to find solar panels if you don’t know where to look. In this guide, we will show you where to find and smash solar panels in Forza Horizon 5.

Where to Find Solar Panels to Smash in Forza Horizon 5

The best location in which to smash solar panels in the base game is just southeast of the main Horizon Festival location, near the Casa Bella house.

You should look for the area with small rectangular dots, as seen in the map image above. There you will find a solar farm of over 80 panels conveniently placed and waiting to be smashed.

From there, just drive into as many panels as you can until the challenge is complete.

Destroying Solar Panels in Custom Races

In Forza Horizon 5, challenges can be also completed in custom races, which makes things a whole lot easier. This means you can enter a short custom race filled with solar panels and start destroying them. Thankfully, other players and members of the community have been quick to create these races for everyone to benefit from.

To enter custom races, go over to the Creative Hub tab from the pause menu, and select Eventlab. Then, select Event Blueprints and press the search button to filter through the different races.

Go all the way down to the “Share Code” filter and enter the following code: 423 189 237. Now all you have to do is choose a car and start the event. In order to complete the “Shocking” challenge, you can simply drive forward into the solar panels as fast as you can until you reach the finish line.

You could also use the filters to search for other tracks containing the word “Solar”, which returns a list of good custom races to try.

After completing this challenge, you will be awarded 20 Forzathon Points to spend on new cars, wheelspins, and more.
