Genshin Impact: Nilou Best Team Comps Guide

Have Nilou team up with the right characters in Genshin Impact with the help of this guide.

Nilou is a 5-star character in Genshin Impact. What makes her unique is that she requires a restrictive team composition to maximize her capabilities. This Nilou best team comps guide focuses on just Dendro and Hydro characters in your party so you can make the most out of her kit. We list down ideal characters based on their elements and roles, and you’re free to mix and match accordingly.

Nilou’s passive talent, Court of Dancing Petals, is what makes her a rather peculiar character. The Talent provides amazing buffs, but only if you have just Dendro and Hydro characters in your squad.

Because of this, you’ll never bother with Electro-based reactions like Quicken, Aggravate, and Hyperbloom, or Pyro-based reactions like Burning and Burgeon. Instead, you’ll have Bountiful Cores, which lead to faster and bigger explosions whenever Bloom is triggered.

Hydro Characters

Healer: Kokomi or Barbara: Kokomi is the better option here, thanks to her skill which acts like a turret. It can heal your active character and damage nearby foes, applying Hydro in return.

Sub-DPS: Xingqiu: Xingqiu remains one of the top-tier characters in the game, despite being only a 4-star character. His burst allows for continuous Hydro application and attacks while he’s off the field.

Sub-DPS: Yelan: Yelan also has a similar function to Xingqiu due to off-field application, though she’s a 5-star character.

Dendro Characters

Main DPS: Nahida: The Dendro Archon is one of the most powerful characters in Genshin Impact. Her elemental skill links foes so they can get hit by the same damage instance, while her passives greatly boost elemental mastery.

Sub-DPS: Dendro Traveler: The Traveler has been much maligned due to having an underwhelming kit. Thankfully, the Dendro empowerment grants a huge AoE field when the burst is cast, leading to reliable Bloom procs.

Sub-DPS: Collei: Lastly, there’s Collei, who also has a similar function: applying Dendro to multiple enemies, combined with Hydro to create cores.
