Destiny 2: How to Complete the Nocturn Triumph

The newest Seal and Title for Destiny 2: Beyond Light requires Guardians complete the Nocturne Triumph. We've got all the details you need right here.

Each new season of Destiny 2 brings with it new Triumphs, optional challenges that can be completed while playing the game. The most important Triumphs will unlock a Seal, granting your Guardian a new title. One such Triumph in Season of the Splicer is Nocturne, and we’re going to show you how to complete it.

This Triumph is tied directly to the core story of this season, where a corrupted Vex Mind has plunged the Last City into an endless night. This story has been rolled out piece by piece each week. Players are required to complete the Nocturne Triumph in order to earn Splicer title. This is a big questline, so we suggest you get started early.

Destiny 2: How to Complete the Nocturn Triumph

The Nocturne Triumph requires players complete the Beneath the Endless Sky lore book. There are ten total pages, nine of which are tied to the weekly Path of the Splicer missions.

Every time you complete one chapter of the Path of the Splicer questline, one of the ten pages of the lore book is unlocked.

Destiny 2 Beneath the Endless Night.

You will need to complete the Lost Splicer mission, which kicks off the season and awards the first page of Beneath the Endless Sky.

All Path of the Splicer missions contain the follow elements:

  • Talk to the Splicer Servitor in H.E.L.M
  • Make a key using collected Ether
  • Complete an Override Mission and open the Conflux Chest
  • Talk to Mithrax Via the Splicer Servitor

Starting in the third part of Path of the Splicer, a new step will be added. You will need to complete a specific Weekly Expunge Mission after opening the Conflux chest. This will continue through part eight.

Some weeks will send you to H.E.L.M or to the Tower for additional conversations along the way.

Part eight of Path of the Splicer will add a second Expunge Mission, this time to eliminate Quaria, the source of the endless night. Once you have completed that and had conversations with Ikora and Lakshmi-2, the ninth page of Beneath and Endless Sky will be complete.

Destiny 2: How Do You Unlock the Last Page of the Beneath an Endless Sky Lore Book?

So what about that tenth page of the Endless Night? That will have to wait. Currently the Triumph to unlock it is unavailable.

Based on previous seasons (and a bit of data mining from the community) it appears that the final page of the lore book is tied to the epilogue of the season, and will not be available to be unlocked until Bungie says so.

There you have it, nine steps down, one to go. We know idle Guardians are the House of Devil’s playthings, so might we suggest occupying your time hunting Chroma Rush God Rolls, or unlocking some Synthweave? You will find those, and plenty more in our Destiny 2 hub
