Where to Find Matryoshka Dolls in DDV

DDV is always dropping new mysteries to unravel in the valley. From colorful potatoes to Forgotten Relics, we’ve seen it all. If you’ve been exploring the valley with the new update, odds are you’ve stumbled upon a Matryoshka Doll. If you haven’t, you’ll want to seek them out. The dolls are a crucial part of bringing Jack Skellington into your Valley.

Matryoshka Doll Locations

You’ll find Matryoshka Dolls scattered throughout the Valley on the ground. They look like little urns and will be sparkling so you can identify them more easily. While I wish I could directly pinpoint their locations, their locations are random, much like many other items in Dreamlight Valley.

My biggest piece of advice is to keep your eyes open as you explore. You can find Matryoshka Dolls in every biome (except The Forgotten Lands since that’s where you use them). Here’s exactly where I found my first three Dolls, which seem to be in some of the same places as others I’ve spoken to:

  • Directly east of the Plaza fountain.
  • The Frosted Heights by Olaf’s cave.
  • The Sunlit Plateau by the southern bridge.

How to Use Matryoshka Dolls in Dreamlight Valley

After you find your first Matryoshka Doll, Merlin will be prompted to speak with you. After you speak with him, he’ll simply tell you to head to the Forgotten Lands and investigate. However, be sure to go ahead and find a total of four Matryoshka Dolls before going there since that’s how many you’ll need when you arrive.

You’ll use the Matryoshka Dolls at the new tree with the pumpkin carving directly west of the cooking station in the Forgotten Lands. Simply interact and place all four Dolls into the tree to use them. Once you do that, you’ll be able to bring Jack Skellington to your Valley!

That’s where to find and use the Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley to bring the amazing Pumpkin King to your Valley. We have a ton of other DDV guides here on GameSkinny, including recipe articles and more!
