Where to Find the Bookseller in Stardew Valley

The Bookseller is a special merchant that appears in town twice a season. The days he shows up are randomized when the season changes. This can make it hard to track him down, but there is an easy way to figure out when he’ll set up shop.

The two days the Bookseller will appear in Pelican Town are marked on the calendar. As soon as you start a fresh game, you can head to Pierre’s to see when that is. Look for the hot air balloon icon, which symbolizes the merchant.

On the day he sets up shop, you’ll receive a popup alert when you wake up. This is a nice reminder in case you lose track of the days. To find him, head into town. There’ll be a sign to the right of Pierre’s showing where to go. You’ll see his balloon and shop set up above Joja Mart, in the small clearing above the stairs.
