This guide will provide you with tips on how to study opponents in The Sims 4, including both viable methods. You can use either or both depending on your situation, and since this is a daily task, you can switch between both of them.

How to Study Opponents in The Sims 4

Before you can study your opponents, you need to choose one of the following paths:

  • Bodybuilder
  • Professional Athlete

You need to choose the Pro Athlete career branch and Energized, as your ideal mood. Once these choices are made, you will be given a daily task to study your opponents. You can do this either through a TV or your computer.

If you’re using the TV to study your opponents, then follow these steps:

  1. Turn on the TV
  2. Select “Study Opponents” option
  3. Wait for the study to complete

This process will take about two hours, which you can spend while training on a treadmill. In this case you need to put your TV set on a treadmill as well.

If you’re using a computer to study your opponents, then follow these steps:

  1. Turn on your PC
  2. Go to the WEB option
  3. Select “Study Opponents” option
  4. Wait for the study to complete

The process is similar, and once it is completed you can choose either +2 to your Energized or Tense moods.

The goal of studying opponents is to earn promotions that grant the following rewards:

  • Minor League: $413, Sole Star Athletic Poster
  • Rookie: $537, New CAS Parts
  • Starter: $698, Llamacorns Team Photo
  • All-Star: $605, All-Star Trophy
  • MVP: $908, ZenXercise Treadmill
  • Hall of Famer: $1452, MVP Trophy
