Here's how to make and use a Zonai Fan device in Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Zonai Fan is a new bit of technology that works with Zonai Capsules. These materials give Link exciting new abilities that aid you all across Hyrule and beyond, coming in handy for traversal and various puzzles. The Tears of the Kingdom Zonai Fans are particularly useful in this regard. Below, we’ll tell you how to make a TotK Zonai Fan so you’re never stumped.

How to Make Zonai Fans in Tears of the Kingdom

To make a Zonai Fan in Tears of the Kingdom, you need to obtain the device capsule first. You can get the Zonai Fan device capsule in two ways:

  • Finding them across Hyrule.
  • Gambling at a Zonai Device Dispenser.

Once you’ve acquired a Zonai Fan capsule, follow these steps to make one:

  • Go into your inventory.
  • Select the “Zonai Devices” tab.
  • Find your Fan device.
  • Select the Fan with “A.”
  • Select the Take Out Device option with “A.”
  • Exit the Inventory Menu.

You’ll now see the Zonai Fan on the ground after following those steps.

How to Use a Tears of the Kingdom Zonai Fan

To use a TotK Zonai Fan, make sure you have Zonai Charges available. You can acquire the charges by defeating Zonai Constructs or purchasing some from Mining Caves. The device turns on and off with a hit from your primary weapon.
