The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Cannons are destructive Zonai Devices used to lay waste to countless foes. However, you’ll rarely stumble upon them, unless you explore the Sky Region further. Here’s our guide to help you find Cannons in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

TotK Cannon Locations

Similar to other Zonai Devices, Cannons can be found in various locations as you’re out and about exploring. There are times when you might even find some in Armories in the Depths. These are small areas with several tools and weaponry strewn about. Still, our Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Cannons guide focuses on the most reliable sources: Device Dispensers.

I’ve found a couple of these machines in the Sky Region, which require Zonaite Charges or Large Zonaite Charges. The rewards seem to be random, but they still come from a limited selection pool. Here are the Device Dispensers that you’ll want to take note of:

How to Use Cannons in TotK

Most other Zonai Devices in the game rely on a constant stream of elemental energy to deal damage. There are also those that offer explosive power, but are gone after a single use. The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Cannons, meanwhile, require a couple of seconds to charge up before firing a devastating blast. They can be used numerous times before they break apart. However, take note of your energy meter. A single cannon blast is enough to drain a full battery segment. As such, activating several of these at the same time might deplete all your energy.

In any case, the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Cannons are just one type of Zonai Device that you can use. There are others, such as Rockets, Batteries, Beam Emitters, and more. For additional tips and walkthroughs, visit our Zelda: TotK guides hub.
