Become as stealthy as possible with the help of our guide on how to get the Yiga Armor set in Zelda: Tears of Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Yiga Armor set is the best stealth set in the game. While its defensive stats are comparatively weak in relation to other armors, it’s fantastic for stealth, letting you move in near complete silence and faster than usual when using the mechanic. Our guide will tell you how to get Yiga Armor set in TotK, including tips on how to upgrade it.

The TotK Yiga Armor isn’t only useful for traversing the Kingdom of Hyrule unnoticed, but it’s also required for completing the “Infiltrating the Yiga Clan” side quest. The best part is that you can find the Yiga Armor for the very best price of free by following these steps. I’ve marked the location of the tech lab with the red circle on the map above.

Tears of the Kingdom Yiga Armor Chest Piece Location

  1. Reach the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab (4499, 3113, 0237).
  2. Start the fight with two members of Yiga Clan and defeat them.
  3. Enter the lab and speak to Konba.
  4. Accept his gift of the Yiga Armor chest piece.

Yiga Armor Mask Location

Once you’ve got the chest piece, you’ll need to get the Yiga Mask, which silences Link’s breathing, thus increasing your stealth. Follow these steps to get the mask:

  1. Find an old shack to the south of Temple of Time Ruins at coordinates (-0782, -2259, 0089).
  2. Start the fight with two members of Yiga Clan and defeat them.
  3. Enter the lab and speak to Pitar.
  4. Accept his gift of the Yiga Mask piece.

Yiga Armor Tights Location

Lastly, you’ll need to get the final piece of the TotK Yiga Armor set, which is the Yiga Tights. This final piece silences the sound of Link’s footsteps. This piece is the hardest to get by far, in my opinion, and here’s what you need to do:

  1. Travel to the Aldor Foothils, which is to the west of the Great Hyrule Forest.
  2. Enter the Yiga Clan Maritta Branch cave at coordinates (-0644, 2040, 0155).
  3. Speak to Yiga Blademaster in the cave.
  4. Fight and defeat both Yiga Blademaster and Yiga Footsoldier.
  5. Look up onto the ceiling, and use Ascend through a square hole.
  6. Speak to Aliza up there.
  7. Accept her gift of the Yiga Tights piece.

How to Upgrade the TotK Yiga Armor Set

The Yiga Armor set can be further upgraded, improving its defensive stats and stealth and speed of movement bonuses. You can upgrade it at the Great Fairy using the following items:
