Gourmets Gone Missing starts by speaking with Penn at Riverside Stable, which is marked on the map above. He’ll instruct that you speak with Gotter, who’s standing nearby.

Gotter is waiting for some gourmets to arrive, but they’re late. He points out the Owlan Bridge as a hint for where they might be. If you head over the bridge, you’ll come across the gourmets’ camp at the location marked on the map below.

The log next to the cooking pot has Zelda’s recipe for Meat and Rice Bowl, and speaking with the gourmets makes it clear that they decided monster parts were an acceptable substitute for Raw Meat. It made me wonder if Link felt that sick after I made him eat my dubious cooking creations to restore his Hearts.

The proper Meat and Rice Bowl recipe is:

  • 1 Hylian Rice
  • 1 Rock Salt
  • 1 Raw Meat

I luckily already had Hylian Rice that I purchased from Lookout Landing and Rock Salt from breaking rocks. It was simple enough to get the Raw Meat from killing animals in the forested area around the gourmets’ camp.

Once you make the Meat and Rice Bowl, speak with Agus. The gourmets will be feeling better, and you’ll receive the ingredient used to make the dish back as a token of gratitude. Head back to the stable to officially complete Gourmets Gone Missing.
