Is It Possible to Play Fall Guys Split Screen?

Does Fall Guys have split screen? What about local co-op? A guide to playing Fall Guys with friends.

It would seem like Fall Guys would be a perfect candidate for split screen considering its fast paced antics, especially now with the game being free to play. Unfortunately there is no split screen feature in Fall Guys, though the developers haven't ruled it out for the future.

Another question posed by many players is how to join someone in a local co-op session in Fall Guys? Unfortunately, the local co-op multiplayer is not yet implemented in Fall Guys.

In lieu of split screen and general local co-op, players have access to online matchmaking and cross-platform play with which you can play with your friends.

The closest you can come to playing with your friends in Fall Guys is to use the Party menu. But before that you need to enable the crossplay by following these steps:

  1. Go to "Settings" menu.
  2. Select "Options" tab.
  3. Select "On" at the "Cross Platform Matchmaking" feature.
  4. Confirm by pressing "OK".

Once the crossplay has been enabled, you can invite up to three friends from different platforms to join your party (four players total) in the match-up. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Go to "Party" menu.
  2. Click on the "Invite" button.
  3. Add your friend.
  4. Select "Invite".

Repeat these steps for each of the three friends, and as soon as they accept your invite, they will be added to your Party menu. From there, you can start the match and your friends from the Party list will be added to your game automatically.

If a friend of yours sent an invite to you, then you will see a pop-up window on your screen offering you to join the game. If you agree to this, then simply click "Join" on the pop-up window.

Hopefully, our guide answered your questions regarding split screen and local co-op sessions in Fall Guys. If you were looking for a guide on how to fix the 200_1040 error code in Fall Guys, then simply follow the provided link.
