Hello Neighbor 2: Act 1 Safe Code Answer Guide

Wondering what the safe code is in Hello Neighbor 2 Act 1? Here's how to find it.

If it’s not the dollhouse puzzle, one of the first roadblocks you’ll encounter in Hello Neighbor 2 Act 1 is the office safe. Like most of the riddles in this first-person horror sequel, the solution isn’t immediately obvious. You won’t just find the code written down somewhere. Instead, you’ll have to scour the first floor of Peterson’s house to find the answer.

How to Find the Safe Code in Hello Neighbor 2 Act 1?

We’ll provide the exact safe code numbers near the bottom of this article for those who want to know it, grab one of the four basement door keys, and move on to other riddles like the toy car puzzle or the photo puzzle. Simply scroll down. For anyone who wants to do a little searching for the numbers, here’s how to find them.

If you look above the safe, you’ll notice a lamp illuminating four flags hanging from a shelf. From left to right: red, blue, green, and yellow. This is a clue to the code’s solution. In short, you’ll need to track down four colored toy blocks with numbers on them, then arrange them in the correct order to get the correct set of numbers.

Green Toy Block Location

The green block with the number 8 is the first one we’ll pick up because it’s the easiest to find. It’s directly to the left of the safe on the table.

Red Toy Block Location

The red block with the number 1 is the second one we’ll pick up. It can be found on the far left side of the safe room, in a small table to the left of the sofa.

Blue Toy Block Location

We’ll grab the blue block with the number 9 next. Exit the safe room through the door by the safe, and go to the end of the hallway to the bathroom. Look inside the toilet for this toy block.

Yellow Toy Block Location

Next, we’ll get the yellow (orange) block with the number 4. Exit the bathroom, and enter the kitchen. Open the refrigerator, and knock down the plate inside to find this one.

With the toy blocks in hand, return to the safe room and place them in order on the floor: red, blue, green, yellow.

What is the Safe Code?

The safe code for Hello Neighbor 2, Act 1 is: 1984. Punch that in using the keypad on the front of the strongbox, and grab the key for the top lock on the red door leading to the basement.

This won’t be the last safe code or lock combination you’ll come across in Hello Neighbor 2 or Act 1. For more, head over to our guides hub for the horror game.
