All Sons of the Forest Items and Item IDs

While dozens of items have IDs in Sons of the Forest, not every item has a code, even at the game’s 1.0 launch. Some items you’ll have to find or craft yourself. Further, be sure to backup your save before using these codes. Inputting them incorrectly may corrupt your save data.

How to Add Items Using Item IDs in Sons of the Forest

Entering spawn item console code
Screenshot by GameSkinny

Spawning items in Sons of the Forest using IDs requires activating console commands. To do this, type in “cheatstick” without the quotations. Simply stand somewhere and type the word in, then hit F1. If a screen full of all possible commands comes up, you’ve done it correctly.

Next, type in “spawnitem [id]” without the quotations or brackets. In the image above, you see that I’ve put in “spawnitem 503” as a test, which makes a Torch spawn on the ground in front of me. I prefer not to use this method to get items. But if I’m in a cave and running low on food and water, I’ll spawn in Energy Drinks and MRE Packs to survive until I leave. Since these items are easy to find in containers, I don’t feel bad popping them into my game.

Those are all items list and item IDs in Sons of the Forest. For more tips and tricks articles, go to our Sons of the Forest guides page here.
