Owners of Nvidia RTX graphics cards have been experiencing some serious memory leaks in Tower of Fantasy lately. This glitch is connected to Nvidia's Deep learning super sampling (DLSS) technology.

There are not many ways to fix this issue, but we will go over two possible — and easy — solutions below. Though, admittedly, they are not the most ideal.

Turn Off DLSS

If you are willing to lose the benefits of DLSS while playing Tower of Fantasy, you can simply turn it off by following these steps:

  1. Go to the game's main menu.
  2. Select "Settings" option.
  3. Go to "Display" tab.
  4. Toggle DLSS enabler to "OFF" position.

This simple action should instantly stop any memory leaks in your system, but you may or may not notice any changes to the quality of the imagery in the game.

Install the Newest Version of DLSS

Tower of Fantasy players who don't want to disable DLSS can install the latest version of the DLSS libraries released by Nvidia. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Go to DLSS PowerUp webpage.
  2. Download the latest version of the DLSS libraries.
  3. Go to "\Tower of Fantasy\Engine\Plugins\Runtime\Nvidia\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64" folder on your PC.
  4. Delete the old "nvngx_dlss.dll" file.
  5. Copy and paste the new DLSS libraries .zip file into the folder and unpack it.

Reportedly, the latest version of the DLSS libraries doesn't cause memory leaks in the system.

Tower of Fantasy: How to Reach the Quicksand Lair Spacerift in Vera https://www.gameskinny.com/uery9/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-reach-the-quicksand-lair-spacerift-in-vera https://www.gameskinny.com/uery9/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-reach-the-quicksand-lair-spacerift-in-vera Sat, 29 Oct 2022 12:44:42 -0400 John Schutt

The Vera region in Tower of Fantasy might not be as large as the main Asperia map, but that doesn’t mean it’s small. Unlocking Spacerifts makes traversing the desert considerably easier, and while most of them are easy to access, the Quicksand Lair has no apparent means of access.

Getting to it isn’t straightforward either and requires mental and physical gymnastics. This Tower of Fantasy guide will show you where you need to go.

Quicksand Lair Spacerift Location

The first step to unlocking the Quicksand Lair Spacerift is to reach its entry point. The marker is in the southernmost section of the map, so if you haven’t been far from Mirroria, it’s quite the journey.

Stop by the other Spacerifts and Terrain Markers on your way there, so you don’t have to backtrack. When you get close to the Quicksand Lair marker, you’ll notice there is no Spacerift in sight. It’s far below the quicksand pool, and getting there takes a little work.

You’ll notice in the pool of quicksand near the marker there’s a portion near its center that’s swirling.

To reach the Lair, land in the middle of the swirling portion, then let yourself be consumed by it.

Rather than dying as you would with a normal quicksand pool, if you’re right at the center of the vortex, there will be a fade to black, and when you can see again, you’ll be in the Lair.

The easiest way to get to the center of the vortex is to head onto the hills below the giant rock formation near the quicksand pool.

Use the jetpack thrusters to get some air, then carefully position yourself above the swirling sand. Once you’re in the Quicksand Lair, make the easy jump across the chasm to activate the Spacerift.

It’s not the most challenging puzzle in Vera, but activating the Quicksand Lair Spacerift isn't the most straightforward, either. We’ve covered other topics unique to the new update, including Old Vera Coins and solving Ruin Stone Puzzles. Our Tower of Fantasy guides hub has more.

Tower of Fantasy: How to Find the Hidden Smart Servant https://www.gameskinny.com/ydw0d/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-find-the-hidden-smart-servant https://www.gameskinny.com/ydw0d/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-find-the-hidden-smart-servant Sat, 29 Oct 2022 12:50:45 -0400 John Schutt

One of the sidequests in Mirroria in the Vera region of Tower of Fantasy has you playing hide and seek with a local child named Hui. Over three rounds, he'll ask you to find his hidden Smart Servant, and while you won't need to go far to find them, their hiding spots get harder to uncover.

This Tower of Fantasy guide will show you all three places to find the hidden Smart Servant so you can complete the quest quickly and easily.

Hidden Smart Servants Locations

To start the short sidequest, head to the northern side of Mirafleur Hall, and drop down to the lower level. You'll find Hui, the quest giver, against the north wall. Speak to him and select the following dialog options:

  • "Really?"'
  • "I'll do it!"

Selecting both will start the first round of the quest. Your minimap will have a blue area marked in the area north of you. All three hidden Smart Servants will be just north of Hui in slightly different areas.

Here's where to find all the hidden Smart Servants.

  • First Smart Servant Location: There is a set of bushes northwest of Hui. You'll see a bunch of lighter green buds protruding from the bushes left of the large-leaved plant. Go to them and interact with the Camouflage Smart Servant pop-up to complete this step. Return to Hui to progress to the next Servant.

  • Second Smart Servant Location: Just north of the bushes where you found the first Servant is a small sitting area with some tables and chairs. Two NPCs chat at the southernmost table, and there is a suspicious flower pot at the northern one. Approach the table, interact with the Camouflage Smart Servant pop-up, then head back to Hui for your final test.

  • Third Smart Servant Location: Directly north of Hui, you'll see a small, single-tier pagoda, which houses a noodle stand. Atop the red-lit structure is a strange-looking bonsai tree. Hop up to the top of the pagoda, interact with the Camouflage Smart Servant pop-up, then return to Hui one last time.

For finishing Hui's hide-and-seek quest, you'll receive 25 Mirroria District A exploration progress and 100 Mira for use at gachapon machines around Mirroria. We covered where to find Old Vera Coin gachapon machines in another guide, and there is plenty more about Vera and Tower of Fantasy in general in our guides hub.

As much content as Tower of Fantasy has, gacha games aren’t for everyone. But with the 2.0 update and the addition of the Vera region, players everywhere are bound to return. Anyone coming back will have a lot of catching up to do, but thankfully, both veterans and lapsed players have a reward system for them. Those who never stopped playing can now earn Return Support Points to spend in an all-new store.

This Tower of Fantasy guide covers how you get Return Support Points, what you can do with them, and the best places to farm them.

Return Support Points Explained

To earn Return Support Points, you must complete playlist activities with a returning lapsed player: anyone who hasn’t played in seven days or more. With them in your team, you can participate in either Select or Challenge activities to earn specific amounts of Return Support Points.

You’ll be participating in the two playlists: Select missions and Challenge missions. The Return Support Values are below.

Select Mission Return Support Point Values

  • 30 points per completion of any activity at any difficulty. A Joint Operation at level 8 is the same reward as a level 1 Dimensional Trial, and so on.

Challenge Mission Return Support Point Values

  • Void Rifts: 30 points per boss kill. Good for getting some extra Matrices and gear but not the most efficient use of your time.
  • Raid: 50 points per clear. Unless you go into the Raid activity with a scuffed team, there will always be enough strong players to carry the returning one lagging behind.
  • Frontier Clash: There are two difficulties here.
    • Hard mode provides 20 points per boss kill for a maximum of 100, though reaching that milestone takes high stats, a good team comp, and a bit of luck.
    • Normal mode provides 5 points per round clear, for a maximum of 75 for a full completion. If you or one of your teammates can easily take out all the enemies and bosses, this is one of the better ways to farm Return Support Points. If you don’t manage much past round 10, it might be preferable to focus on other activities.

If you have a friend or friends who used to play Tower of Fantasy, they’re the easiest ask to get into your team and get back in the saddle. There are also ways to matchmake and group with random players for limited times.

Returning Executors will have a reward screen of their own called the Limited-Time Return Store, visible via the Stellarway Restart menu. They’ll mostly be collecting upgrade materials, but they only have 14 days to do so.

How to Group with Returning Players

There are two primary methods of grouping players needing help without already having you on your friends list.

  • Join a Support Match Joint Operation. These Joint Operations are designed to pair you up with returning players, but whether they actually do so is a bit suspect. Our tests got us nothing.

  • Respond to a Rescue Signal in the Support Store. At the top of the Support Store is a new button called Rescue Signal. Selecting it opens a list of players looking for help. You can either press the flag button to invite them to your group or send them a Whisper message. Whispers are more likely to get results, as you come off as more than someone spamming invites in hopes someone joins.

No matter how you help your returning Executors, you’ll be able to get your hands on Gold Nuclei, Proofs of Purchase, and other goodies. For more on the Vera update and Tower of Fantasy in general, check out our guides hub.

Tower of Fantasy: Possible Fix for Failed Login ID 32 Error https://www.gameskinny.com/r6hp2/tower-of-fantasy-possible-fix-for-failed-login-id-32-error https://www.gameskinny.com/r6hp2/tower-of-fantasy-possible-fix-for-failed-login-id-32-error Fri, 28 Oct 2022 11:03:37 -0400 Sergey_3847

Many Tower of Fantasy players have encountered the "Failed Login ID 32" error while trying to log into their accounts lately. The reason this error pops up is one that plagues dozens of other games regardless of genre: server overload.

Before you do anything, it is best to check the game's official Twitter page or the Global News webpage to make sure you are not trying to play Tower of Fantasy during a scheduled maintenance period. If you are, then you will have to wait until the maintenance is over. Unfortunately, the team is not currently working on the game, there is really only one thing you can do in this situation, and that is to change your server region.

Change Server Region

Before the developer officially fixes server issues, try switching to another region. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Launch the game.
  2. Click or tap the server name on the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select any other region other than your current.
  4. Select any server you want to try out.

This should eliminate the login error problem for the time being, though it is not ideal. You may lose some latency due to using a non-local server, but at least you can play the game, albeit with a totally different player base.

Many players recommend United Kingdom servers as the most stable in the current situation.

Tower of Fantasy: How to Loot Surveillance Guards https://www.gameskinny.com/lj68e/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-loot-surveillance-guards https://www.gameskinny.com/lj68e/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-loot-surveillance-guards Sun, 23 Oct 2022 16:31:32 -0400 John Schutt

Exploring the Vera desert in Tower of Fantasy always yields something interesting, and you’re liable to encounter a strange polyhedral device as you adventure. These are Loot Surveillance Guards, machines apparently designed to keep Nuclei out of the wrong hands.

Getting the loot from Surveillance Guards is relatively simple, but it takes quick reflexes and patience. This guide will cover everything you need to know about looting these odd machines.

Looting Surveillance Guards Explained

Unlike Elemental Supply Pods or Ruin Stone puzzles, taking your reward from a Loot Surveillance Guard is simple in principle: go up and take it. The wrinkle is the Guard will close around the Black or Gold Nucleus it protects as you approach it, locking you out of collecting your loot for about five seconds, provided you back off. If you stay next to the Guard, it will never reopen, and the two of you will be locked in a never-ending standoff.

To successfully loot Surveillance Guards, you need to stay far enough away from them long enough for them to open. Once they do, rush up to them and select the Cut Off option in about half a second. Doing so will lock the Guard into a temporary open state, allowing you to collect the Nucleus from them.

With such a short window, forcing the Guard to stay open can be difficult if you aren’t used to the timing. Thankfully, there’s no punishment for failure beyond needing to try again. Simply retreat from the Guard and wait five seconds or so for it to open back up, then rush in and try to hit the Cut Off prompt again.

If you give it a few tries and can’t nail the timing, note where the Guard is and come back later. It’s not going anywhere, and returning in a better headspace will probably make it easier to succeed.

There’s not much more to looting Surveillance Guards in Tower of Fantasy. It’s easy and straightforward, and the rewards are worth the minor frustration these machines can sometimes cause. For more on Tower of Fantasy, the Vera region, and the Artificial Island, check out our guides hub.

Tower of Fantasy: How to Unlock Elemental Supply Pods https://www.gameskinny.com/6pb7r/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-unlock-elemental-supply-pods https://www.gameskinny.com/6pb7r/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-unlock-elemental-supply-pods Sun, 23 Oct 2022 16:35:09 -0400 John Schutt

Out on the desert sands of Vera in Tower of Fantasy, you’ll see strange technological devices jutting out of the landscape. They have a roughly cylindrical base with a shielded Supply Pod at their top. These structures are called Elemental Supply Pods, and they’re one of the easier puzzles to solve for Black and Gold Nuclei and Old Vera Coins. We’ll cover how to open them in this guide.

Unlocking Elemental Supply Pods Explained

The mechanics behind looting Elemental Supply Pods are very straightforward. When you first encounter one, look at the color of the shield around the Supply Pod. That will determine which element you’ll need to open it.

  • Purple is Volt.
  • Blue is Frost.
  • Red is Fire.
  • White is Physical.

Actually unlocking the shield takes a little more effort. There will be several smaller shielded orbs floating in the air around the central Pod, and you’ll need to destroy four of them to lower the shield around the Pod.

The pods tend to move up and down in a set pattern, so while you can technically melee them, using ranged weapons like Samir’s Dual EM Stars or Tsubasa’s Icewind Arrow make the task much easier.

You only need to hit each smaller orb once to pop it, so unless your aim is particularly poor, getting the first few out of the way is simple. The initial orbs are usually close to the central Pod, but depending on how much verticality you have around you, the final couple of orbs could be above or below you. Also consider that the third orb only appears once you destroy the second, and so on.

If you’re having trouble finding the next small orb, explore the immediate area around the Pod. It will never be more than a few meters in any direction, but sometimes it’s hiding in a dark corner or on a plateau you’ll need to do some platforming to reach.

When you’ve destroyed all the small orbs, a sound cue will play, and the shield around the Pod will shatter, allowing you access. You will of course need a Weapon of every element to unlock all of the Elemental Supply Pods on the map, but a few dozen Gold Nuclei pulls should take care of that issue.

The addition of Vera is a massive update to Tower of Fantasy, so there’s a lot to cover outside of Elemental Supply Pods, and we’ll be going over plenty more in the days to come. In the meantime, head over to our Tower of Fantasy guides hub for much more.

Tower of Fantasy: How to Get Rewards from Friendly Little Critters https://www.gameskinny.com/9n8ta/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-get-rewards-from-friendly-little-critters https://www.gameskinny.com/9n8ta/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-get-rewards-from-friendly-little-critters Sun, 23 Oct 2022 16:38:42 -0400 John Schutt

There might be plenty to despair about across the Vera region in Tower of Fantasy, but there are a few bright spots across the barren desert wasteland. One of them is the Friendly Little Critters scattered about, small rodent-like animals who just want to make you feel good.

They even award Nuclei for being nice to them. This guide will show you how to appropriately interact with the Friendly Little Critters and earn their favor.

Friendly Little Critter Rewards

When you come across any Friendly Little Critters throughout the Vera desert, they’ll greet you with a text bubble and a symbol. If you aren’t sure what the sign means, press the Use button on them to open a brief dialog box that describes what they want from you.

In short, the critters want you to use a specific emote at them, which both the symbol and the dialog point toward.

To emote, open the chat window and press the + symbol to the right of the text entry field. This opens your emote selection screen. From there, select the icon of two characters with their arms around each other’s shoulders. This opens the character emote selection screen, and thankfully there are only five to choose from, and which one you need to use is made fairly clear by the Critter.

For instance, seeing two hands with three hashes near them requires you to clap, with the hashes representing the sound the hands make when they come together. Their dialog will also mention something about seeing you excited or whatever emotion the emote conveys.

Once you provide the correct action, the Critter will clap excitedly, dig in the ground before it, and produce either a Black or Gold Nucleus.

There’s not much more to it than that. Do right by the Friendly Critters, and they’ll do right by you with a reward. We’ve got additional coverage of the Vera update, including how to use Old Vera Coins and solve Ruin Stone puzzles. Our Tower of Fantasy guides hub has much more.

Tower of Fantasy: How to Solve Ruin Stone Puzzles https://www.gameskinny.com/c445m/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-solve-ruin-stone-puzzles https://www.gameskinny.com/c445m/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-solve-ruin-stone-puzzles Sun, 23 Oct 2022 16:44:01 -0400 John Schutt

Almost 400 Black and Gold Nuclei are scattered across the Vera map in Tower of Fantasy, and getting your hands on some of them takes a little more puzzle-solving than you might expect. Even some of the Black Nuclei, usually the easier of the two to acquire, have an extra bit of brain-teasing, including the new Ruin Stone puzzles.

The Ruin Stones aren’t the hardest of the new puzzles in Vera, but they are very particular about how you solve them and require a bit of camera work and knowledge of perspective to activate correctly. We’ll cover how to do just that in this guide.

Solving Ruin Stone Puzzles

The first thing to keep in mind about the Ruin Stones is while the method for solving these puzzles is the same each time, the solution itself will change. Here’s the methodology.

  • Step one: Identify which side of the stones has the two halves of a symbol on it.
  • Step two: Align your character and camera so that the two halves come together perfectly to create the complete symbol.

That’s all there is to it, and it seems simple on paper, but in practice, it’s a bit trickier. Ruin Stone puzzles are all about your ability to judge perspective. In the example puzzle shown above, I had to stand some distance in front of the smaller stone, then pan my camera down even with the ground, and then align the two symbol halves, so they gave off a golden glow.

You don’t need to align everything perfectly, just nearly so. The closer you get to the proper alignment, the brighter the glow will be.

One of the best practices for solving a Ruin Stone puzzle is to start by standing a few meters ahead of the front symbol stone and see how close you can get to solving the stones.

Fiddle with your camera first and get the two halves as close to connected as possible, then start moving your character. Make larger adjustments first to get a handle on how the symbol comes together, then make smaller and smaller movements of both camera and character.

The instant you see the symbols start to glow, make only tiny changes to your character and camera’s positions, and the glow should appear in due time. If you’re having trouble getting the solution, you might need to reset yourself. Try a different starting position and camera angle, and start the process over again.

Without covering every Ruin Stone puzzle in Tower of Fantasy, that’s how you get the Nuclei from these little brain teasers. Check out our other guides on Vera, the Artificial Island, and the base game in our Tower of Fantasy guides hub

Tower of Fantasy: How to Spend Old Vera Coins https://www.gameskinny.com/j1rgi/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-spend-old-vera-coins https://www.gameskinny.com/j1rgi/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-spend-old-vera-coins Sat, 22 Oct 2022 15:43:04 -0400 John Schutt

With the new Vera planet released in the 2.0 update to Tower of Fantasy comes a whole new set of currencies. One of these, Old Vera Coins, replaces the standard Dark Crystals as rewards for opening Supply Pods of either type. Black Nucleus Supply Pod I now gives 20 Old Vera Coins, and Gold Nucleus Supply Pod II gives 50.

It's not clear, however, where you spend the coins. If you look at the item's description, it simply says you can use them in gachapon machines but doesn't indicate where you might find them. That's what this guide is all about: how you spend Old Vera Coins.

Where to Spend Old Vera Coins

Once you get to Vera, one of the first things you do is make your way to the floating city of Mirroria. While the majority of the city is off-limits early on, the gachapon machines are not. You'll find the machines in six locations, but only two of them have machines that accept Old Vera Coins. The remaining four locations only accept Mira, the other primary currency used in Mirroria.

The first Vera Coin gachapon machine is on the platform called Mirafleur Hall.

It's directly east of the taxi platform, up against the railing. To its left are some bushes and a white-haired beggar. There are two machines, and only the one on the right, glowing yellow, takes Old Vera Coins.

The second Vera Coin gachapon machine is on the platform south of Mirafleur Hall, labeled the Hazardous Materials Lab.

While technically reachable by following the bridges connecting the platforms, it's easier to get to the machine by taking the taxi there, then heading to the southeastern portion of the area.

The blue-lit gachapon machine on the right takes Old Vera Coins.

Those are the only two places to spend your Old Vera Coins right now. A third exists in a section of Mirroria that you can access later in a playthrough, and we'll update the article when it becomes available.

Like a Standard or Limited banner, you can pull one or ten times for 50 or 500 Coins, respectively. The complete list of possible pulls is below.

Tower of Fantasy: How to Get Warp Energy Cells https://www.gameskinny.com/d8py5/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-get-warp-energy-cells https://www.gameskinny.com/d8py5/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-get-warp-energy-cells Fri, 30 Sep 2022 10:34:57 -0400 John Schutt

Warp Energy Cells are one of two core currencies unique to the Vera Orienteering event in Tower of Fantasy. You’ll want as many of them as you can get to ensure you and the rest of the server receive every reward during the event.

In this Tower of Fantasy guide, we’ll cover all the current sources of Warp Energy Cells and will update the guide as new sources unlock.

Earning Warp Cells in the Vera Orienteering Event

The Vera Orienteering Event is spread across three distinct Phases, and there are more and more ways to earn Warp Energy Cells as new Phases open up.

Phase One Warp Energy Cell Sources

Your easiest sources of Warp Energy Cells, regardless of event Phase are:

  • Password chests. Blue and purple password chests award 15 and 50 units, respectively. Rusted Iron Chests, being free, only provide 5, but they’re about as numerous and cost nothing to open, so gather from them whenever you can.
  • Defeating enemies, especially Hyenas. You won’t earn many Warp Energy Cells for trash mobs, but you can go into Select missions of any kind, with or without Vitality, and be a part of the combat. You’ll get tons of Cells, plus Support Points, for your troubles.

Phase Two Warp Energy Cell Sources

With Phase Two unlocking, a whole new world of Warp Energy Cell farming opens up. There is only one new, main source of the currency: specific world bosses — Lucia and Sobek to be precise. Defeating either of them and opening the chest they guard awards 500 Energy Cells. For more on defeating them with randoms through World Chat, check out our Vera Orienteering event guide.

Depending on how fast your server fills the event progress bar, you might be able to collect thousands of units of currency and buy out the whole Journey store.

Getting Cells in Phase Three

Neither Phases Two or Three are active, but there are two additional sources of Warp Energy Cells coming across them both.

Phase Three gives us event instances, and again, what exactly those entail isn’t clear yet, but they could be unique versions of the various Ruins and Select mission zones for us to clear for additional Cells.

Remember that Warp Energy Cells are shared across your server, so while you should contribute as much as possible, you’ll have the help of everyone across every channel toward reaching the phase goal. These items are limited by the Phase; once the server reaches the current Phase's Cell limit, trying to earn more will do nothing.

Whether you’re going to grind for Warp Energy Cells or are coming into Tower of Fantasy as a new player, we’ve got plenty of other guides on the game. Check out our best Weapons tier list, how to get the Red Nuclei in the Trucks, and how to get the Maglev Stalker. Our guides hub has much more.

The 2.0 update to the Tower of Fantasy global client is likely bringing the Vera zone with it. In preparation for the massive patch, the Vera Orienteering event is live until October 7.

While we don't know if Vera itself releases then, the event is live now and comes with some juicy rewards. Consisting of three distinct phases with increasingly challenging requirements, you'll be able to earn plenty of upgrade materials and gacha currency by participating. Here's the lowdown.

The Vera Orienteering Event Explained

For the event duration, you'll have the opportunity to earn two core currencies: Warp Energy Cells and Proofs of Contribution. Energy Cells currently come primarily from defeating event-specific enemy types and opening chests. Proofs of Contribution are earned by turning in Warp Energy Cells and completing event-specific objectives.

Warp Energy Cell collection is shared across your entire server, so you won't be doing all the work, but you should try to contribute as much as you can so everyone benefits.

Phase One of Vera Orienteering

Vera Orienteering is a three-phase event; right now, only the first two phases are available. The two objectives of Phase One, Entrusted Investigation, are easy enough.

  • Defeat five Hyena thugs. You can find at least a few of these at almost any small Stronghold in the Astra region. Defeat five of them for 600 Proofs of Contribution.
  • Use password chips to unlock three password chests. The chests can be of any rarity, though you'll probably want to use your yellow keys, as the world bosses in Vera will use a different item to unlock their rewards. Opening three chests awards 500 Proofs of Contribution.
Phase Two of Vera Orienteering

Phase Two is live, and it's as straightforward as it is brutal. You task is to fight the Sobek and Lucia world bosses as many times as you like. Each completion awards 500 Warp Energy Cells whether you use a Type III password chip on the boss chest or instead select Force Decipher. The only difference is in the value of the other rewards.

While it is possible to take on a world boss solo, we don't recommend it. If you don't have other people to play with, your best bet is to open World Chat. Over the event timeframe, there are bound to be at least a few people making teams for the server using a "taxi" service.

To take a taxi ride to a boss, look for a player who says they're fighting it in chat. Click on that player's icon in the chat window to pull up more details about them, then click the Join Team button.

In the Team window at the top right of your screen, select the third icon down to bring up the Teleport pop up.

When prompted, teleport to your team member's location, which, if they'r fighting the boss, will be inside the arena.

All that's left then is to defeat the boss and claim the reward chest.

There are new missions to complete as well, which you can view in the Entrusted Investigation screen.

Select the Phase Two tab on the left to see the newly revealed missions. They are:

  • Defeat any area boss two times. This objective is simple. Simply participate in the event and fight Lucia and Sobek and you'll be able to claim the 700 Proofs of Contribution easily.
  • Unlock three password chests with chips. As with the Phase One objective, wander about the world and unlock any password chest with a Type I, II, or III chip. If you have enough Type III chips, you can complete this step on the boss chests.
How to Use Proofs of Contribution

The amount of Proofs of Contribution you can earn is limited by the number of Warp Energy Cells you can turn in, and the number of challenges in Phase One does not increase.

As noted, Phase Two offers event-specific world bosses, and Phase Three will have event instances. These activities are likely much more repeatable than the two Phase One objectives. Completing these tasks is the easiest way to earn Proofs of Contributions, but once you finish them, they do not refresh, so spend that currency wisely.

You spend Proofs in the Journey Store, accessible from the Vera Orienteering event page.

In the store, Proofs allow you to purchase everything from Red Nuclei and gold Energy Crystal Dust to chat windows, Matrix Data Packs, and more. Some rewards are locked until new phases begin, and you'll need to reach Level 50 to earn everything. With Phase Two giving an almost endless amount of Energy Cells, depending on how fast your server fills the event progress bar, you might be able to buy everything and have thousands left in reserve.

We'll be sure to update this guide when the new phases unlock for Vera Orienteering, so check back once they do. Tower of Fantasy: How to Beat Ravagers https://www.gameskinny.com/vqyif/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-beat-ravagers https://www.gameskinny.com/vqyif/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-beat-ravagers Mon, 26 Sep 2022 10:23:15 -0400 Sergey_3847

During the "Messenger of War" mission in Tower of Fantasy, you will encounter the Ravager Raid, which initiates an attack on the village. You will need to complete the raid and liberate their shelter, and that means knowing how to beat Ravagers.

Wave 1: Beat Ravager Raiders

After talking to Zeke, the shelter will be attacked by the Ravager Raiders in the first wave of the raid.

This is the easiest part of the raid; all of the mobs are lesser melee enemies that use only two attacks:

  • Single Punch.
  • Triple Punch.

You can easily take them down with almost any weapon, just be aware that they deal Volt damage. Once all Ravager Raiders are defeated, activate the Omnium Guards, which can be found upstairs at the shelter's central station.

Wave 2: Beat Ravager Aeronauts

The second wave of the Ravager Raid begins as soon as you activate the Guards in the central station. This time, you need to defeat a wave of flying Ravagers that come from the side of the bridge and use crossbows.

These enemies stay in the air at all times. Though the Guards will help you during this phase of the raid, your character can only damage them with ranged weapons:

  • Composite Bow.
  • Nightingale's Feather.
  • The Terminator.
  • Chakram of the Seas.
  • Dual EM Stars.
  • Flaming Revolver.
  • Four-Leaf Cross.
  • Icewind Arrow.

Once the second wave of enemies has been eliminated, go toward the front gate of the village, where you'll face a third and final wave of attackers.

Wave 3: Beat Strong Shield Ravagers

Once you arrive at the gates, the Ravagers will break through and enter the village. This wave will have the largest group of enemies, around 20, consisting of:

  • Aberrants.
  • Ravager Aeronauts.
  • Strong Shield Ravagers.

Aberrants are zombie-like enemies that attack with their claws, dealing physical damage. These can be easily defeated with any melee weapon.

Ravager Aeronauts, again, can only be defeated with ranged weapons, so make your shots count while dealing with the other enemies.

Strong Shield Ravagers, on the other hand, carry large energy shields, which can only be destroyed with a Turret. You can find a Turret on the bridge; use it as soon as possible. Once their shields are broken, they can be easily taken down by any melee weapon.

Also bring along a healer character (e.g. Nemesis) or any healing weapons you may have for this battle.

That's all you need to know on how to beat Ravagers in Tower of Fantasy. Be sure to check out the rest of our Tower of Fantasy tips and tricks articles while you're here, like our guide to getting the Maglev Stalker, how to dodge, how to reroll, and how to break cracked walls.

Tower of Fantasy: The Best Artificial Island Upgrade Material Farming Route https://www.gameskinny.com/uvc69/tower-of-fantasy-the-best-artificial-island-upgrade-material-farming-route https://www.gameskinny.com/uvc69/tower-of-fantasy-the-best-artificial-island-upgrade-material-farming-route Tue, 20 Sep 2022 09:21:29 -0400 John Schutt

One of the core systems new to the Artificial Island in Tower of Fantasy is the ability to build a customizable home base in a personal instance of the Island. To fully upgrade that base, you'll need to farm for specific materials unique to the instanced version of the area.

As the instance is a much smaller version of the Island and the materials drop from the enemies there, you'll want to optimize your farming route so you can gather everything quickly and easily.

In this guide, we'll cover the best upgrade farming material route so you can get your Artificial Island base up to par.

The Best Artificial Island Upgrade Material Farming Route in Tower of Fantasy

Before you can even enter the Build version of the Artificial Island, you must meet one of these requirements:

  • Reach level 60
  • Earn 800 Exploration Points on the main version of the Island

With either condition met, open the main menu and select the Build option in the top left. Once inside, Kalador will give you a brief tour; you'll build your Development Center and Workshop and be on your way.

Your first task should be to open the instance's version of the Dock Entrance Spacerift in the north, the Rusty Iron Camp Spacerift to the east, and the Puddled Lake Spacerift in the south.

You'll be using all three for this farming method, and we'll use them as reference points for this guide.

Dock Entrance Farming Route

Starting from the Dock Entrance Spacerift, turn southwest and clear the small camp, then take on an easier version of Robarg unique to the instance.

She's entirely beatable solo, though it's a tough fight. Be mindful that she and the other world bosses do not respawn at weekly reset. Instead, they respawn seven days after you kill them, so you'll need to wait a week if you defeat them at some point after the standard reset time.

Return to the Dock Entrance and head northwest. You'll see a staircase leading up to a tunnel with enemies guarding your path.

Make your way up the stairs and into the tunnel, defeating every enemy you see in and around it. Exit out the side doorway and take out the enemies at the camp at the bottom of the stairs.

With the tunnel enemies dealt with, head southeast to the Simple Pier and clear out all the Ravagers, fourteen total.

Head southwest from the Pier and clear out the three trash mobs, then head east toward the Ring Arena and Apophis. You'll be climbing up a ramp built into the side of the cliffs.

There will be a half-sphere atop the hill and some junk popping out of the ground, surrounded by four Hyena thugs.

Take them out and then go to the small camp just east of them where Apophis waits if you haven't already fought him.

Continue southeast along the path to another Hyena camp with ten enemies to clear. From there, head southwest for another ten enemies.

Rusty Iron Camp Spacerift Farming Route

Fast travel to the Rusty Iron Camp Spacerift and, rather than taking out Barbarosa directly behind you, head north to the Rusty Iron Camp.

Take out the thirteen enemies there, then head west.

Along the coast is a small dock with ten additional Hyenas and a Treasure Guardian to defeat.

Once they're done with, head directly south toward the floating platform. You'll come across a large ramshackle camp of Hyenas on the outskirts of a large facility.

From the camp, make a brief detour to defeat Barbarosa if you haven't already, then go to the facility to the south.

There are fifteen enemies to defeat here, so expect plenty of action. Continue to the west toward Sea Gate Passage, where nine additional enemies await you.

Puddled Lake Spacerift Farming Route

There isn't much left to do now, so fast travel to the Puddled Lake Spacerift and head east to fight the Devourer if he's not already dead. Then head northwest toward the tower. The first of two Hyena camps is there.

Clear the camp beneath the tower and continue west to the edge of the instanced area for one final camp among the ruins.

Take out all the enemies there, then return to Base Zero to spend your materials.

Completing the entire loop presented here should take about half an hour, less if your damage is high. Once you complete it, you'll need to wait three days for the mobs to respawn and go through it again. Remember, bosses don't respawn until seven days have passed since you last killed them, so do so when you clear the rest of the map.

Those are the best Artificial Island upgrade material farming routes in Tower of Fantasy. As much as you'll be able to gather this way, there's not nearly enough to upgrade everything in the first few days, especially with some of the materials locked behind boss kills.

While you wait for your mobs and bosses to respawn, check out some of our other guides on Tower of Fantasy, including how to get the Maglev Stalker, level up fast, and have a look at our best Relics tier list. Our guides hub has much more.

Tower of Fantasy: Where to Find Developer Logs on the Artificial Island https://www.gameskinny.com/qs3h5/tower-of-fantasy-where-to-find-developer-logs-on-the-artificial-island https://www.gameskinny.com/qs3h5/tower-of-fantasy-where-to-find-developer-logs-on-the-artificial-island Tue, 20 Sep 2022 10:59:46 -0400 John Schutt

After you arrive on the Artificial Island in Tower of Fantasy and complete the introductory quest, you’ll receive a quest about getting ten Developer Logs. There’s no easy indication of where to find said logs or what they look like. You’ll need to collect all of them if you want to 100% the map, and this guide has their locations and the best way to get them fast.

Where to Find the Developer Logs on the Artificial Island in Tower of Fantasy

For this guide, we assume you don’t have any of the Artificial Island Spacerifts active. For those Developer Logs that benefit from having a specific Spacerift unlocked, we’ll mention it in the entry.

The first five Developer Logs are around the Base Zero and Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon platforms. We’ll label these using directions related to those platforms for ease of access.

Developer Log #1: In the Heyna Camp West of the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon Platform

Start your journey by heading southwest from the airship and west of the larger Dragon boss platform. There’s a small Hyena stronghold there with a Supply Pod II.

On the platform above the Pod is a wooden box. Destroy the box to reveal the Developer Log.

Developer Log #2: Northwest of the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon Platform among some rocks

The next Developer Log is almost directly north of the first. Cross the river and look for a cluster of rocks and tall boulders jutting near the beach.

The Log is nestled in a crevice nearest the beach.

Developer Log #3: Northeast of the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon Platform, Attached to a Sign

Head directly east of the second Log and climb up the mountainside. There will be a small industrial area with a sign in its northeastern section.

The third Developer Log is attached to the signpost.

Developer Log #4: West of the Airship Dock, Near a Tree

Keep making your way east toward the airship dock at Base Zero. Before you get there, jump down to the lower area just south of the rocks. The Developer Log is nestled near the base of a tree nearest the rocks.

If you don’t see its pop-up immediately, circle around the tree and keep close to it.

Developer Log #5: East of the Eyrie Spacerift Platform, on a hill near the truck

The next Log is near the southern locked truck hiding the Red Nucleus. The Developer Log sits on the hill just northeast of said truck, in the middle of some grass.

The following three Developer Logs are all east of the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon platform in the Mount Sandy portion of the Artificial Island. We’ll use the long pipe extending from the mountainside as our point of reference. Having the Rusty Iron Camp Spacerift is helpful to reach this area quickly.

Developer Log #6: North of the Long Pipe in the Rusty Iron Camp, atop the Crashed Airship

North of the Spaceirft and the pipe is the Rusty Iron Camp, a Ravager outpost with a large crashed airship at its eastern side. To find this Developer Log, make your way up onto the airship ruin and go toward the tail wing.

The Log is on the ship’s spine.

Developer Log #7: On the Floating Platform West of the Pipe

The easiest way to get this Developer Log is to have access to the Eyrie Spacerift (found using our guide here) and glide down to it. You can also climb Mount Sandy to the east and glide down from there.

Either way, you’ll find the Log on one of the northern struts on the outside of the main platform.

Developer Log #8: Southwest of the Pipe in the Mine Base, Near a Truck

Glide down south from the floating platform into the Mine Base Ravager camp. Clear the enemies there and head to the truck underneath the metal overhang. There will be some small bottles you can pick up or break. Do either to reveal the Developer Log.

The final two Logs are far to the north of Base Zero, and the closest landmark is the Dock Entrance Spacerift, but traveling north from the Base will allow you to reach them easily enough.

Developer Log Location #9: West of the Dock Entrance Spacerift in the middle of a dirt path

Directly north of the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon Platform and west of the Dock Entrance Spacerift is a dirt path leading toward some stairs and a Ravager Stronghold.

The Developer Log is In an intersection of paths near the yellow portal south of the stairs.

Developer Log Location #10: Near the Walled Off Tunnel, Beneath some Boxes

North from the ninth Developer Log and up the stairs is a tunnel walled off by hard-light barriers. On the platform near the tunnel are some enemies, a telescope, and some boxes.

At the platform’s northern end is a set of three boxes. Destroy them to reveal the final Developer Log.

With all ten logs in your inventory, head back to Kalador at Base Zero. He’ll thank you with some praise and a hefty purse of 100 Gold. The real reward was, of course, the friends we made along the way.

Tower of Fantasy: How to Unlock the Eyrie Spacerift Near the Interdimensional Fire Dragon https://www.gameskinny.com/nmg06/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-unlock-the-eyrie-spacerift-near-the-interdimensional-fire-dragon https://www.gameskinny.com/nmg06/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-unlock-the-eyrie-spacerift-near-the-interdimensional-fire-dragon Mon, 19 Sep 2022 10:28:39 -0400 John Schutt

Access to the Eyrie Spacerift in the Artificial Island zone of Tower of Fantasy makes navigating the central area infinitely easier. It’s the highest point in the entire level, and gliding from it can take you to almost any point on the Island.

It also provides immediate access to the Interdimensional Fire Dragon world boss. Dying during the fight puts you far below the encounter platform, and unless you have a teammate to teleport to, you’ll be stuck there, unable to collect your reward.

Here’s how to unlock this handy fast travel point.

How to Unlock the Eyrie Spacerift on the Artificial Island in Tower of Fantasy

Unlocking the Eyrie Spacerift is pretty easy. You’ll only need to spend a few minutes traveling east from the Base Zero area where you enter the Island, then do a little climbing and some light jetpack flight to reach a red portal.

Starting from Base Zero, head east toward the Rusty Iron Camp Spacerift, which you should activate if you haven’t already.

From the Spacerift, head northwest up the cliffsides and climb up to the uppermost level. Travel south along the upper ground until you’re just north of the long pipe jutting from the mountainside.

You should see a floating red triangular portal near the pipe’s end, hanging in the air.

Double jump or launch yourself with the jetpack and glide into the portal. All you need to do is touch any part of the model to be teleported onto the platform with the Eyrie Spacerift, but be careful once you’re there. The Spacecraft is on a slightly higher platform than the one you arrive at, and you can’t climb the sides, so be sure you’ve saved a jetpack boost.

The Interdimensional Fire Dragon also patrols the skies around the Spacerift, and if he locks onto you, expect to take a face full of rockets in short order. So activate the Eyrie Spacerift and get out of there.

With it active, you’ll have easy access to almost the entire rest of the Artificial Island and thus can get to the two portals leading to the locked trucks much more accessible. We’ve covered plenty of other Tower of Fantasy topics here, including how to get Dark Crystalsthe Monocross Unicorn Mount, and a list of all the recipes in the game. Check out our guides hub for more.

Tower of Fantasy: How to Get the Red Nucleus in the Trucks on Artificial Island https://www.gameskinny.com/lm83d/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-get-the-red-nucleus-in-the-trucks-on-artificial-island https://www.gameskinny.com/lm83d/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-get-the-red-nucleus-in-the-trucks-on-artificial-island Sat, 17 Sep 2022 11:54:27 -0400 John Schutt

Early in your exploration of the Artificial Island in Tower of Fantasy, you’ll come across two trucks with Nuclei in them. These are two of the four Red Nuclei found in the wilds of the Island, and while they’re easier to get to than the other two, you’ll still need to do some exploring and trust in your jetpacking skills to reach them.

This Tower of Fantasy guide will tell you how to get into each of the trucks, as well as what to watch out for so you don't get teleported far, far, away.

How to Get into the Locked Trucks

There are over a dozen portals scattered about the Artificial Island, and most of the ones you can get to easily are blue. The red portals are much harder to reach and take you to the more remote reaches of the zone where the best loot lies. These locked trucks are two such places.

Getting Into the Truck Beneath the Platform

To get into the truck beneath a large floating platform near Base Zero, take the red portal beneath the smaller floating platform to the northwest of Base Zero. You’ll know it by the Small Stronghold called the Challenge Floating Island atop the small platform.

There are two ways to reach the portal. The easiest way is to glide down from the Eyrie Spacerift. If you haven’t unlocked that yet, the portal is still easily reachable, though it's a bit of a hike.

Continue northwest from the platform and climb the mountainside. You’ll pass the Scud Falls Spacerift on your way up, but keep going northwest and up to the next level of the cliffs.

With the Spacerift almost directly southeast of you, take off with your jetpack southeast toward the floating platform.

Stop off and clear the elite mobs, then claim the Supply Pod, but don't take the red portal above them; it will take you far from your goal.

Instead, go below the platform with the Pod and take the red portal there. You’ll be teleported into the first truck with the Red Nucleus. Be careful there as well; there’s a blue portal close and behind where you spawn in the truck, so ensure you collect the Nucleus before touching it.

Getting Into the Truck Near the Airship

Reaching the inside of the truck directly to the south of the airship will take you a ways to the southeast; the portal inside is beneath another floating platform southeast of Base Zero.

Gliding down from the Eyrie Spacerift is once again the easiest way to reach the red portal, but traveling to the cliffs on the western side of Mount Sandy gets you there as well.

From Base Zero, head directly southeast to the cliffs and climb all the way up. The ledge you need to reach is straight south of the large pipe jutting from the mountainside. If you look northwest from the cliffs there, you should be able to see the red portal beneath the floating platform.

Glide across the gap, take out the elite mobs guarding the Supply Pod, and float down to the portal. You’ll be instantly teleported to the truck with the second Red Nucleus in it. As before, be careful you don’t accidentally step into the blue portal inside the truck, or you’ll have to make the whole journey again.

With that, you’ve collected each Red Nucleus in the two locked trucks in Tower of Fantasy’s Artificial Island zone. There are plenty of other things to discover in the new zone, and we’ll cover many of them soon. Tower of Fantasy: Aida Cafe Limited Event Guide https://www.gameskinny.com/c7u9t/tower-of-fantasy-aida-cafe-limited-event-guide https://www.gameskinny.com/c7u9t/tower-of-fantasy-aida-cafe-limited-event-guide Sat, 17 Sep 2022 12:04:22 -0400 John Schutt

The limited-time Aida Cafe event is one of the most rewarding we’ve seen in Tower of Fantasy so far, offering the likes of Red Nuclei, high-level Matrix upgrade materials, SSR Relic shards, and more. It’s also one of the simplest events; the main grind is finding the ingredients to make the various dishes you’ll be serving the characters who frequent the Cafe.

This Tower of Fantasy guide will tell you how the event works, list all of the available rewards, and detail the best meals for SSR and SR characters.

How the Aida Cafe Limited Event Works

Head to the Reward menu, where Aida Cafe is an option among the bottom tabs. Opening it will take you to the main Cafe screen, and one of the core Simulacra characters will be there waiting to eat something you’ve prepared.

You’ll need to fill five slots — Main Course, Side Dish, Soup, Desert, and Drink — with food that the character enjoys. The more the food selection suits them, the higher your Revenue score.

Revenue Score Explained

Revenue is how you earn the Aida Cafe event rewards, and once you’ve earned 100 points and claimed the first two reward tiers, you’ll need an additional 100 points to advance to the next tier.

You make a maximum of 50 Revenue per meal if you provide exactly what the character wants and a minimum of 25 if you get everything wrong. Most meals will award point values in the 30s, but if you want everything the Aida Cafe event gives, you’ll need to max out every meal.

Aida Cafe Event Rewards

Fifteen reward tiers totaling 1,500 Revenue points are available during the Aida Cafe event, but you can earn the best rewards by earning only 1,000 points. After that breakpoint, the primary rewards are Gifts to give your Simulacra and basic upgrade materials.

Here are all of the rewards and their Revenue Point values:

50 Revenue Points

  • One Red Nucleus.
  • Five Matrix Data Pack III.

100 Revenue Points

  • 10 Weapon Augmentation Box I.

Best Meal for Each Character

Almost every Simulacra in the game is a potential customer, and some who aren’t yet available will drop by the Cafe to get something to eat.

Here are the best meals for each of them. Check out our guide to Tower of Fantasy Recipes for the ingredients for each of these, and check the Limited Menu and Limited Ingredient list in the Cafe screen for more info on event-specific dishes.

Tower of Fantasy: How to Get to and Leave the Artificial Island https://www.gameskinny.com/fr8zc/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-get-to-and-leave-the-artificial-island https://www.gameskinny.com/fr8zc/tower-of-fantasy-how-to-get-to-and-leave-the-artificial-island Fri, 16 Sep 2022 16:44:29 -0400 John Schutt

New to Tower of Fantasy is the Artificial Island zone, a smaller but still expansive area filled with Nuclei, activities, a new boss, and plenty of secrets. Knowing all of that, you may be wondering how to get there.

The Artificial Island isn't available to everyone immediately, and you’ll need to spend some significant time in the base game before you can access the new area. These limitations are for the best, though; the Artificial Island hosts some of the harder challenges available in the game. Here's what you need to know.

How to Access the Artificial Island

You need to meet two core requirements to access the Artificial Island.

  • Progress to Chapter 2 in the story campaign.
  • Reach Wanderer Level 50. As leveling is time-gated, this will take you some time. See our how-to-level-up fast guide for additional help there.

Once you’ve achieved both of those milestones, head to the Banges Dock you traveled to at the start of Chapter 2. When you make it there:

  • Head to your Rewards Tab.
  • Select Artificial Island on the left sidebar.

This will pull up the “Kalador’s Invitation” screen. Click Go to get directions to speak to Kalador, president of Banges and creator of the Artificial Island, near his airship.

Head up to the airship and to the Island, where Kalador will walk you through a short quest chain. He’ll introduce the various construction sites that will make up your base and then send you to a nearby Hyena camp. Oddly, you don’t have to fight the Hyena enemies there, merely reach their camp.

Return to Kalador at this point for a little more tutorial, and then you’ll be free to explore with impunity.

Note that you don’t have to complete Kalador’s side quest to actually participate in any Artificial Island activities. Still, the markers won’t disappear from your HUD until you complete the quest chain. If you can stand to have an extra blue dot on your screen at all times, then don’t worry about these latter steps, but they’re an excellent introduction to the new systems.

How to Leave the Artificial Island

When you want to leave the Artificial Island, you’ll need to return to your base and interact with the airship there. There is no way to fast travel between it and Asperia, so be sure to grab the Spacerift near the ship.

Now you’ve got access to the latest content in the global client of Tower of Fantasy. There are dozens of additional hours of farming, raiding, and progression on the Artificial Island, so take your time exploring and continuing your progression. You may come across some formations of glowing mushrooms during your travels in Tower of Fantasy. These formations aren't just for decoration, they can also be a source of gold nucleus or black nucleus. While a lot of these feature three glowing mushrooms, it is possible for there to be more.

Whether three or more, our guide will provide you with a solution to the three mushrooms puzzle in Tower of Fantasy.

Three Mushrooms Puzzle Solution

The giant mushrooms that spawn all over the world of Aesperia are called Glowshrooms. They typically spawn in a circular position so that it's easy to interact with all of them.

If you address the in-game survival guide, then you will find the following description of these mysterious mushrooms:

"Resilient mushroom cluster that lights up when stomped. Rumor has it that good things happen when you light them up in certain order."

It doesn't say much, but if you wish to solve the mushroom puzzle, then follow these steps:

  1. Locate the group of Glowhsrooms.
  2. Approach them and check out the height of each individual mushroom.
  3. Jump on the smallest one first.
  4. Then, jump on the middle-sized.
  5. Finish by jumping on the tallest mushroom.

The three mushrooms puzzle can be solved by consequently jumping on all mushrooms beginning from the shortest one and ending with the tallest.

You will know that you've done well by the characteristic blue glow that appears once you jump on the mushroom of the correct height.

Note that this method also works with groups of mushrooms that contain more than three mushrooms. Some players have found groups of six mushrooms, but the reward is always the same: it's either a gold or black nucleus, which appears in the center of the mushroom circle.
