Warning!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is a Konami game, which is linked to your Konami ID that you need to create before playing any of this company’s games, which in its turn is linked to your platform account, whether it’s a PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, or Steam account.

There is no clean option of resetting the Konami account in case you want to start your games anew. So the only solution is to delete your old Konami account, which is irretrievable in the case of deletion, and start a new blank account on a different platform account.

This means that if you delete your Konami account in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, you will not be able to create a new Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel account with your current platform account, making it impossible for you to play this game again on any of the platforms linked to your deleted Konami account.

You will have to start a brand-new game client profile on your current gaming platform and create a new Konami ID, which technically resets your account.

How to Delete Your Account

If you understand the consequences of this decision and still wish to proceed with deleting your Konami account, then you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to Konami ID page
  2. Click on “Konami ID” menu
  3. Select “Delete Konami ID” option
  4. Log in to your account by entering your ID and password
  5. Read Terms and Conditions
  6. Select “Agree” option
  7. Check “Agree” box at the bottom
  8. Confirm by pressing “DELETE

In the end you will see the following message:

“IMPORTANT NOTICE: Once your Konami ID has been deleted, it can not be restored in any way.”
