Hogwarts Legacy: How to Steal a Crossbow Bolt from Loyalist Ranger

Here's how to steal a crossbow bolt from a Loyalist Ranger for that elusive dueling feat in Hogwarts Legacy.

There are a number of dueling feats that can be completed in Hogwarts Legacy. There are a variety of creative ways to harm your enemies, and some are more creative than others. On the more complicated side of things, there are options like stealing a weapon from a ranger. Here's how to steal a crossbow bolt from a Loyalist Ranger and shooting someone with it in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Steal a Crossbow Bolt from Loyalist Ranger

This dueling feat is progression locked in a couple of ways. First, you need to learn Expelliarmus from Professor Hecat after completing her second assignment. In addition to that, you need to have unlocked talents and chosen Ancient Magic Throw Expertise to unlock under the Core category. Once these are done you are able to do this dueling feat.

When fighting against Loyalist Rangers, their ranged attacks from elevated locations can make them difficult to take out.

To complete the Steal a Crossbow Bolt from a Loyalist Ranger, you want to target them with Expelliarmus. When their weapon goes flying, grab it with your Ancient Magic Throw to steal it. Target the loyalist or another enemy to send that crossbow bolt into them, dealing a good amount of damage.

That is all there is to it. The key to being able to do this feat is upgrading your Ancient Magic Throw so you can throw disarmed objects. Run out of items to throw? Just steal them from your enemies, causing them to not only attack but also take damage.
