Marvel’s Midnight Suns: All Playable Characters

Here's everyone you'll find kicking around the Abbey in Midnight Suns.
Here's everyone you'll find kicking around the Abbey in Midnight Suns.

There are literally thousands of Marvel characters that appear in comics, movies, video games, and more, so when creating a cast of characters for Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the studio behind the game, Firaxis, had its work cut out for it in choosing and balancing playable characters.

Given the sheer number of Marvel characters, there was no way that Midnight Suns would be able to host them all, so instead, the game focuses on twelve unlockable heroes.

All Marvel’s Midnight Suns Playable Characters

The superheroes included in Midnight Suns are as follows:

  • Blade
  • Captain America
  • Captain Marvel
  • Doctor Strange
  • Ghost Rider
  • Hulk
  • Iron Man
  • Magik
  • Nico Minoru
  • Scarlet Witch
  • Spider-Man
  • Wolverine

When you start the game, you’ll only have a handful of characters unlocked, but as you progress through the main story, more heroes will start appearing around the Abbey for you to hang out with and use in battle. In addition to the twelve heroes listed above, you have access to the Hunter, the new, playable character introduced exclusively for Midnight Suns.

At the start of the game, you’ll have access to Blade, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Iron Man, Magik, Nico Minoru, and the Hunter.

There are four DLC characters that will be added to the game at a later date. There isn’t any official confirmation as to when specifically they’ll go live, but according to the Midnight Suns Season Pass, it’ll be in “early 2023.” Those characters are as follows:

  • Deadpool
  • Morbius
  • Storm
  • Venom

Although there’s plenty of free DLC that gets released for major titles nowadays, the Midnight Suns Season Pass costs $50. That means that if you’re looking to expand the game’s roster and gain extra story content, you’ll need to pay for it.

The playable character roster for Midnight Suns is set to grow in time, but it’s pretty healthy as it stands. In the meantime, check out some of our Marvel’s Midnight Suns guides here on GameSkinny.
