How to Buy Cars in Forza Horizon 5

To buy cars in Forza Horizon 5, make your way to any Horizon Festival Outpost. From there you can purchase cars using either the AutoShow or Auction House.

How to Buy Cars from the AutoShow

From the pause menu, navigate over to the Buy and Sell tab and choose the AutoShow to buy new cars. This will bring up a list of cars available for purchase using a fixed amount of in-game credits.

How to Buy Cars from the Auction House

The Auction House also functions as another way to purchase cars. The main difference is that you will be buying cars directly from other players. To access the Auction House, go back to the Buy and Sell tab and select Auction House.

How to sell your cars

We just explained how to use the Auction House to buy cars from other players, but you can also use it to sell your cars. Again, choose Auction House from the Buy & Sell tab. Except this time go to Start Auction, select the vehicle you would like to sell, and choose Auction Car.

After choosing which car to sell, you will be asked to set the starting price, buyout price, and auction length. Now your car is listed in the Auction House and all you need to do is wait until it is purchased by another player. Just make sure to claim your credits after selling a car as they will disappear after 60 days.

How to Gift Cars to Other Players.

In Forza Horizon 5, you can gift cars you already own to other players. However, you can’t gift cars to friends or specific individuals. Instead, the game will randomly assign gifted cars to different groups of players.

To gift cars, open the pause menu and go to the My Horizon tab. Select Gift Drop and choose the car you’d like to give away. Then you can choose to gift the car to Anyone, New players, Returning Players, New Hall of Fame Members, and Community Contributors.

And that’s it! Your car will be permanently removed from your garage and given to someone else.

You can also gift vehicles using bar finds by going through the same process.

And that’s all you need to know about buying, selling, and gifting cars in Forza Horizon 5. For more tips and tricks check out our other Forza Horizon 5 guides.
