FFXIV: Weaver Class Quest Turn In Guide Part 1 (1-25)

This is part one of my Weaver class quest turn in guide.

The second set of my crafting class quest guides covers Weaver. This section will cover levels 1-25.

A few things to take into consideration for Weaver.

  1. You can craft up-to-date gear as you go; getting high quality gear will help you in making items. It is not necessary to high quality your grafting gear, though, as long as you keep it up to date.
  2. You will burn through a lot of Lightning Shards grinding out components for your main craft items.
  3. Diremite Web and Fleece are costly on the market boards, since you have to farm them from monsters.

Here are some examples of Weaver tools.

My First Needle: Level 1

For you introductory quest, you are required to hand in one Hempen Yarn.

Hempen Yarn:
  • Lightning Shard X1
  • Moko Grass X2

Once More Unto The Breeches: Level 5

This time Redolent Rose requests that you bring him three Hempen Breeches.

Hempen Breeches:
  • Lightning Shard X1
  • Wind Shard X1
  • Undyed Hempen Cloth X2
  • Hempen Yarn X1
  • Leather X1

The total materials needed if you craft all three on the first try:

  • Lightning Shard X3
  • Wind Shard X3
  • Undyed Hempen Cloth X6
  • Hempen Yarn X3
  • Leather X3

Alternative Applications: Level 10

Your next quest requires that you turn in 12 bolts of Undyed Hempen Cloth.

Undyed Hempen Cloth:
  • Lightning Shard X1
  • Hempen Yarn X2

Remember these all have to be of the same quality to count. As long as you don’t split quality the total number of materials needed is as follows:

  • Lightning Shard X12
  • Hempen Yarn X24

Weaver concept art sketches. I really don’t like the hat.

Practical Needs: Level 15

You are sent to inquire after a client’s requests. The client orders a Cotton Scarf and Cotton Shepherd’s Slops.

Cotton Scarf:
  • Lightning Shard X1
  • Wind Shard X1
  • Undyed Cotton Cloth X2
  • Cotton Yarn X1
Cotton Shepherd’s Slops:
  • Lightning Shard X1
  • Wind Shard X1
  • Undyed Cotton Cloth X2
  • Cotton Yarn X1
  • Undyed Hempen Cloth X1

Total materials needed if you craft both on the first try:

  • Lightning Shard X2
  • Wind Shard X2
  • Undyed Cotton Cloth X4
  • Cotton Yarn X2
  • Undyed Hempen Cloth X1

Materia Concerns: Level 20

Another client asks for a Cotton Acton, with an unspecified materia affixed to it. If you have not unlocked the Meld command, you will need to travel to Black Brush Station. North of the camp, there is a quest that requires you be a level 19 or higher crafting class to accept. That quest will unlock the Meld command.

Cotton Acton:
  • Lightning Shard X1
  • Wind Shard X1
  • Undyed Cotton Cloth X2
  • Cotton Yarn X1
  • Dodo Feather X1

Once you craft the Acton, I recommend using a random Grade I materia because Grade I Carbonized Matter is easy to come by.

Just a random weaver image.

That Velveteen Dress: Level 25

This is the only high quality item for this half of the weaver guide. After some running around, you’re asked to craft a high quality bolt of Undyed Velveteen.

Undyed Velveteen(HQ):
  • Lightning Shard X2
  • Cotton Yarn X1
  • Dew Thread X1

Dew Thread is made from diremite web, which can be quite costly if you’re failing. Try making high quality Cotton Yarn to make the craft easier.

That wraps up part one of the Weaver class quest turn in guides. For more tips, check my list of FFXIV guides.
