Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds are a unique set of side missions that reward you with some of the best cars in the game, but it takes a while to find them all. With just a few exceptions, most Barn Finds only unlock at random after you’ve played the game and completed other challenges for a while. The rewards are worth the hassle, though.
What are Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 5?
Barn Finds task you with finding old barns tucked away in various spots on Forza Horizon 5’s massive map. Inside each is a car in need of repair. Once you find the barn, the car lives in the Garage tab of your house menu. It takes some time for the repairs to finish, or you can pay credits to get the car right away. We don’t recommend doing that unless you’re swimming in credits, though.
The quirk with these “collectibles” is that while three of them unlock by completing Expeditions, the remaining 11 pop up at random. After finishing a race or other challenge, you may hear one of the event organizers mention a potential barn location. It’ll be marked on your map in a big purple circle, and you’ll need to search for the barn in that area.
It often takes a fair bit of searching too, though you can launch Drone Mode from the “Creative Hub” menu to make the process easier.
