No stopping until we free the entire world from Noxious Slime.

Noxious Slime and Noxious Weeds plague the world in Lightyear Frontier. While the story is a little vague currently, you have a quest to clear the Noxious Slime and Weeds to restore the world’s areas. Here are the locations of the Noxious Slime in Pine Heights and how to clear them.

You will clear Noxious Slime easily by dowsing it with water from your Irrigation Hose. The more water you pour on it, the smaller it will become until it eventually disappears completely. It has a crimson glow, so it’s pretty hard to miss, especially in the dark.

The Pine Heights region is probably the second location you’ll explore (after the Meadows, the starting location). It’s a small, thin patch of land northwest of the Meadows. You’ll want to explore it because the following resources are important to gather for progression:

  • Rabbage (the red Cabbage of the game)
  • Aluminum Rod
  • Coal
  • Red Crystal
  • Red Colorflower
Why should you bother cleansing Noxious Slime and Weeds?

It’s worth noting that some resources and the possibility to feed the wildlife of the region only unlock after you are done with the cleansing of Noxious Weeds and Slime in the region. This is the core point of the game, to heal the “planet.”

I have spotted three groups of Noxious Slime in the Pine Heights region, and after clearing all of them, I got a notification that my quest to Restore the Pine Heights was complete. Here are the pictures of the locations of Noxious Slime in Pine Heights that I’ve found:

How to Restore Pine Heights Region in Lightyear Frontier

Here are all of the locations where I’ve found Noxious Slime groups in the Pine Heights region in Lightyear Frontier. They are mostly in the top part of these lands, and you should be able to spot the Noxious Slime patches quickly.

I found the first group in the open, under the “e” letter in Pine on the map:

The second group was in the open as well, but in another section of the zone, above the letter “e” in the word Heights on the map:

Trees and stones somewhat hid the third group, which was just north of the second one, but from the third-person perspective, it’s relatively easy to spot. Always make sure to get a second look from the third-person view, as you’ll see stuff you wouldn’t see in first-person view.

After each successful Noxious Slime removal, the progress bar will move slightly. Once it’s over 95%, the region is “free,” and you will be able to see it normally on your map. Also, a cool cutscene happens before the next day begins, but I do not want to spoil anything for you story-wise.

That’s all about the liberation of Pine Heights I’ve got for you. If you want to read more about Lightyear Frontier, check out our game hub, where we have cool guides, such as the location of Artifacts in Pine Heights that might be worthwhile to gather.
