The Scorched were once humans infected with the Scorched Plague and eventually mutated. Unlike Feral Ghouls, Scorched retains some mental faculties and can use weapons. Since they occupy much of Appalachia, just like with Gulpers, they are common enemies included in seasonal timed challenges and specific quests. Fortunately, most locations have many, so you’ll only need to travel a little to accomplish your objectives. Here are all Scorched locations in Fallout 76.
