Best Granblue Fantasy Relink Lancelot Build

Here's the best Granblue Fantasy Relink Lancelot build, which prioritizes critical damage and hit rate.

Lancelot is one of the best attackers in GBF Relink. But it’s important to use his skills and sigils correctly to achieve maximum DPS. Here, I’ll provide you with the best Granblue Fantasy Relink Lancelot build, which focuses on increasing his critical damage, critical hit rate, and damage cap.

Recommended Videos

I examine each skill in greater detail below, but the best Lancelot skills in Granblue Fantasy Relink are Luftspiegelung, Stiller Glanze, Southern Cross, Wirbelwind, and Turbulenz.

Luftspiegelung

Luftspiegelung spawns a mirror image of Lancelot, which nullifies all incoming damage for several hits. I consider this to be the best of Lancelot’s skills, as I can perform various evasive maneuvers, enabling continuous attacks and maximizing my DPS.

Stiller Glanz

Stiller Glanz is the best default offensive skill that coats Lancelot’s blades with ice after a series of attacks. This allows me to stay in battle for longer, executing more combo sequences. I can thus increase my chances of survival during extended combat encounters.

Southern Cross

I recommend sustaining many combos with this skill, which produces a fast multi-attack that can be chained into a powerful sequence. It can also serve as a great supporting and offensive skill when you’re out of options.

Wirbelwind

It’s also important to subvert the enemy’s attacks with perfect dodges This skill allows me to execute a combo right after a perfect dodge. In this way, I can both evade incoming damage and hit the attacker right when they don’t expect it. This effect produces massive DPS as a result, allowing me to seamlessly transition between dodges, skills, and various actions.

Turbulenz

Lastly, Turbulenz can be a great supporting skill for Wirbelwind with its own combo enabler. In this case, all I need is to dodge into the air and land back with a huge AoE slam. Thus, I can not only evade the enemy’s sweeping attacks but also come back with a strike that can hit multiple enemies at once.

Vegalta

Before you can get the final weapon of Lancelot, Vegalta is the best option. Vegalta is a Stinger weapon, which significantly boosts Lancelot’s critical hit rate. This isn’t just the most optimal weapon for Lancelot in general, but also a perfect companion for this particular build, which focuses on Lancelot’s critical hit sigils. You can forge Vegalta with x1 Champion Merit, x1 Water Orb, x3 Bizarre Wings, and x1 Bizarre Ice Spine.

Damascus Knife, the Unseen

Of course, if you’re looking for the best weapon overall, the Damascus Knife is Lancelot’s ultimate choice. But as I already mentioned, this is his final weapon, which only becomes available in the endgame. So I highly recommend using it for New Game +, taking into account the rest of this build. You can get this weapon randomly after completing the “The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage” quest on the proud difficulty.

This Terminus weapon has two strong traits that I need to mention. One is Regen, which is really the only effective Regen in the game, resting up to 5% of your max HP. The other one is Catastrophe, which boosts all your attack power by 50% and increases your damage cap by 100% if your max HP is equal to or less than 45,000.

White Dragon’s Oath

This is Lancelot’s unique sigil that enhances the damage and distance covered by his Twin Blade Dance command. I find that the best way to use White Dragon’s Oath is mid combo, while activating the W+RMB key combo on PC or L. stick + Y/Triangle on consoles. Once executed, the sigil will increase the overall damage by 50% and the range by 25%.

Critical Damage

Besides Lancelot’s unique sigil, this one is the most important regular sigil for Lancelot. It synergizes with my Vegalta weapon, and once I max it out, it can produce an extra 35% bonus to all my damage. This is a significant boost, which is vital to this build.

Critical Hit Rate

Critical Damage can’t be effectively used without the Critical Hit Rate, so be sure to equip this sigil too. When maxed out, it boosts all my critical hit rate by another 19%, adding up to the total effective DPS with Vegalta blades.

Damage Cap

Obviously, I don’t want to limit all that damage, so I must add the Damage Cap sigil to the mix. It can raise the overall damage of my attacks between 33% and 45% of the base damage cap that’s set by default for weapons in GBF Relink.

Combo Booster

Since Lancelot’s skills are heavily combo-based, I wouldn’t miss an opportunity to boost all of my combo attacks too. This sigil can potentially boost all damage from combo attacks by as much as 70%. Altogether, these sigils will result in an impressive DPS build for Lancelot that no enemy would want to mess with.

That’s it for my guide on the best Lancelot build in Granblue Fantasy Relink. Stay tuned for more GBF Relink tips and tricks articles, including where to find the save file location to backup save data and best weapons tier list.
