Spathodea is a 6-Star Attacker with the Beast element. She’s a fiery boxer with a lot of spunk. But how does she hold up in a real battle? Here’s the best Spathodea in Reverse 1999.
Reverse 1999: Best Spathodea Build
Spathodea is a fantastic Attacker who specializes in DPS and Reality DMG. She also has the perk of burning enemies with her Ultimate for some extra damage. Here are her attacks:
- Little Boxer – [Attack]1-target attack. Deals 200% Reality DMG. When in [Preignition] status, this attack gains Critical DMG +40%
- Level 2 – [Attack]1-target attack. Deals 300% Reality DMG. When in [Preignition] status, this attack gains Critical DMG +40%.
- Level 3 – [Attack]1-target attack. Deals 500% Reality DMG. When in [Preignition] status, this attack gains Critical DMG +40%.
- Ignition Point – [Buff] Self-buff. Gains 3 stacks of [Preignition], 2 stacks of [Exhilaration], and 1 stack of [Preparation – Spathodea I].
- Level 2 [Buff] Self-buff. Grants 6 stacks of [Preignition], 3 stacks of [Exhilaration], and 1 stack of [Preparation – Spathodea II].
- Level 3 – [Buff] Self-buff. Grants 9 stacks of [Preignition], 5 stacks of [Exhilaration], and 1 stack of [Preparation – Spathodea III]

Best Psychube for Spathodea
The best Psychube for Sparhodea is “Luxurious Leisure.” This increases the DMG Dealt by a single-target Ultimate by 5%. This is perfect for long battles since this ability can stack. However, if you’re not in a long fight, I recommend equipping Thunderous Applause, which will increase Sparhodea’s critical strike damage. This compliments her Insight 1 since it increases her critical rate by 25%.
Best Team Comp for Spathodea
Spathodea thrives at being the main DPS of the team with her Critical DMG and ability to burn. Bkornblume is one of the best supports for Sparhodea since they can cast a Reality DEF debuff to all enemies. Pickles is another great support character that can boost any type of damage while also being a strong attacker. To round out this team, we’ll have Shamane as our backup. Similar to Bkornblume, he can inflict a Mass debuff for Reality DMG.
How to Use Spathodea
As mentioned before, Spathodea is best used as your main DPS with the perk of Burning foes. You’ll want to use Ignition Point first as a buff while using Bkornblume to debuff the enemies. Then, you can use Little Boxer to deal loads of damage. As you continue this strategy, her Crit Rate will continually take, doing more damage every turn.
By the time you have access to Spathodea’s Ultimate, you’ll be able to take out most enemies or at least most of their health. Spathodea will be the heart of your team, so make sure she isn’t taken out in battle.
