How to Get the Get Big Shot Legendary Revolver in Dead Island 2

To get the Big Shot Legendary Revolver in Dead Island 2, you’ll need to complete the quest It’s Not Your Fault. The quest comes from Luciana, an NPC who’s in the lounge at Emma’s Mansion in Bel Air.

The goal of this quest is to search for the seismologists in the sewers. Track the quest, and leave Emma’s Mansion to head to the sewer tunnel entrance. You’ll find a note next to a corpse and a pick-up truck.

From there, you’ll have to go through the initial set of tunnels, past Patton’s hideout, all the way to Brentwood Sewer. The goal now is to find three Seismologist Keys so you can activate the Seismographs. Here’s where you’ll find their locations.

Seismologist Key #1

To your left, just as you arrive at Brentwood Sewer. The Seismograph is next to it as well.

Seismologist Key #2

Head into the Venice Storm Tank. Avoid the poison sludge and keep to your right to see the key by a dead Seismologist. The Seismograph is just a bit further to the left.

Seismologist Key #3

The Seismograph itself is in the small office area on the upper walkway. The office key is down below in the maintenance section with the valves/flaming pipes. Check the filthy growths in the small nook to find it.

Once you get back up top, there will be a Butcher waiting for you. Take it out before proceeding further or it will continue following you around.

Seismologist Key #4

You almost have the Big Shot Legendary Revolver. The last Seismologist Key in It’s Not Your Fault is in the main storm tank with all the gooey growths and decay. Kill the initial set of enemies first, which includes Burning Runners, Hazmat Runners, and an Inferno Crusher.

Continue onward to the very end of the lower section. You should see the Seismologist, a unique Shocking Runner, and the final Seismograph just as you approach the collapsed walkway.

If the target isn’t there (i.e., there’s a different key-dropping unique zombie that spawned), you’ll have to exit back to the main menu and reload your save.

After interacting with the Seismograph, an earthquake will occur. This will cause numerous undead to spawn, including a Voltaic Screamer and Mutator. Kill all of the hostiles, then run all the way back to the sewer entrance.

Return to Luciana in Emma’s Mansion. This will complete the Dead Island 2 It’s Not Your Fault quest, netting you the Big Shot Legendary Revolver.

Big Shot Revolver Mods and Perks

Here are the mods and perks for the Big Shot Legendary Revolver:

  • Mod: Superior Ranged Impactor: Gives a major physical damage and force boost; successive hits to a zombie apply the traumatized effect; hitting a traumatized zombie sends it flying to damage everything it hits.
  • Perk: Speedloader: Increases reload speed.
  • Fixed Perk #1: Boomstick: Rounds trigger explosions on impact, which can cause the Traumatized effect.
  • Fixed Perk #2: Russian Roulette: When your magazine is low, gain a moderate damage boost.

As you can see, the Big Shot has amazing perks that make it a devastating weapon. With Boomstick, it turns into a grenade launcher of sorts, one that can afflict enemies with a debuff. The only downside is that this weapon has three bullets in the magazine by default. Make your shots count, or you’ll have to switch weapons constantly.
