Demonologist Spirit Box Questions Guide

The Spirit Box is a paranormal investigator’s key to communicating with a ghost in Demonologist. Much like they say it works in real life, the Spirit Box can pick up on words, shrieks, and other terrifying sounds from entities that feel like talking. Using specific questions, you can get results to help you identify the ghost in Demonologist.

How to Use the Spirit Box in Demonologist

As one of the basic pieces of equipment in Demonologist, you’ll need to get comfortable with the Spirit Box. Part of that is learning how to use it.

To use the Spirit Box, take it out and hold the V key to ask it a question. If there is a ghost nearby that wants to speak, the ghost image on the right will light up blue. Sometimes it may be softly spoken, other times it could be a screeching auditory horror that occurs.

There are only a few questions the ghost can recognize, though, and you’ll need to know what they are. Also note that you may need to ask questions a few times to get it

There are only a handful of questions you can use in game to rile up a response:

• Can you speak?
• Can you talk?
• Where are you?
• When did you die?
• What’s your name?

Basic questions, sure, but they’re the best ones to use when looking for a response. If you get no response to these, you’re ghost probably isn’t a talker and doesn’t interact with the Spirit Box. That’s still useful information as you can cross it off in your journal, narrowing your selection of possible ghost types.
