Diablo 4 Blood Sermon Guide
To begin the quest, head to Kor Valar in Fractured Peaks and speak to Sister Vera. The location is northeast of Kyovashad, and marked on the map above. I knew after speaking to her I’d be in for some demon fighting, and I wasn’t disappointed.
- Sister Vera will tell you to go to the Sanguine Chapel, a dungeon underneath the Alabaster Monastery, and retrieve the Red Chalice from the Bishop. The Chapel is southeast of Sister Vera, and is marked on the map above.
- Once you enter the Sanguine Chapel dungeon you’ll need to return two Mechanical Boxes to the Pedestals at the interior doors to proceed.
- The first Mechanical Box is found northeast of the doors, and you’ll need to defeat Sobek, a Vampiric, Teleporter, and Suppressor, to get it.
- After you defeat Sobek and get the Box, head back to the doors and place it on one of the pedestals.
- The second Mechanical Box is found southeast of the doors, and you’ll need to defeat Vadim, a Vampiric, Plaguebearer, Poison Enchanted, to get it.
- After you defeat Vadim and get the Box, head back to the doors and place it on the remaining pedestal.
- When the doors open, you’ll need to defeat all enemies in the new area, the Defiled Undercroft. You’ll know how many are left by checking the right side of your screen.
- After defeating all enemies in the Defiled Undercroft, enter the final area that was hidden by the blood wall. There, you’ll find the final quest boss, the Blood Bishop.
- Avoid the bloody tentacles as you fight the Blood Bishop.
- Once you defeat him, you’ll unlock an Energizing Aspect for completing the dungeon, and be able to retrieve the Red Chalice.
- Take the Red Chalice back to Sister Vera, she’s now located at the Bear Tribe Refuge that’s northwest of the Sanguine Chapel, and it’s marked on the map above.
- You’ll be rewarded an item Cache, gold, and XP tailored to your level.
