You’ll be able to start the Bad Blood quest once Gulya is done at her potion station following the ending of Necrotic Research, it’ll only take a moment for her to return to her regular spot and the standard blue side quest symbol to appear. Interact with her to start the Bad Blood side quest.

Gulya will tell you she wants to test out a potion on some cultists, which I immediately thought would lead to questionable results. Collect Gulyas’ Potion from the table across from her.

You’ll now need to locate two cultist camps. Two search areas will appear on your main map, but of course, the location of the actual camp won’t be revealed.

The Molting Shore Cultist Camp Location

I found the camp in The Molting Shore directly northwest of the Leviathan’s Maw dungeon entrance. You’re looking for a cook pot, and once you find it, interact with it to place the potion.

You’ll need to hide and wait for the cultists to come to drink it. The hiding location for The Molting Shore cultist camp is directly above the cook pot, you’ll need to stand and interact with a white square on the ground to initiate the cut scene.

To my surprise, they drink it — I mean who would trust a mysterious soup that appears out of nowhere? You’ll watch from the shadows as all cultists collapse and die. Now it’s time to test out the potion on some more willing participants.

The Rustwash Cultist Camp Location

I found the second camp in The Rustwash directly southwest of the Faceless Shrine dungeon entrance. You’ll need to, again, interact with the camp cook pot to pour the potion.

I found the second hiding spot above and to the left of the cook pot. Once you interact with the white square, the cut scene will begin. To no surprise, they all die, again.

Now you’ll just need to report your research results to Gulya. A location marker will appear on your map with her hut’s location. Speak to her to complete the Bad Blood quest. Your reward for completing Bad Blood is an item cache, gold and XP tailored to your level, and 20 Hawezar Renown.
