How to Start the Diablo 4 The Greater Good Quest
The Greater Good starts with a brief conversation with Orton in Backwater. You’ll find him on the second story past the hut with Seni, the Purveyor of Curiosities. He’s sitting in a chair right outside on the east balcony. Talk to him to start The Greater Good.
Orton will ask you to retrieve his supplies back from some bandits, and a general search area will appear on your map. You’ll have to hunt for the bandits and the goods, of course.
Backwater Missing Supplies and Bandits Location in The Greater Good
I found the bandits in the northern section of the search area. You’ll encounter a small group of them, and they’re pretty easy to defeat. I didn’t have any trouble eliminating them solo.
Once you’ve slayed the bandits, you’ll need to gather the supplies. I found them in a chest directly north of the Bandits’ original location. You’ll also see a Silent Chest to open if you have a Whispering Key handy.
After gathering the Supplies, head back to Backwater and talk to Orton once again. This will complete The Greater Good quest. You’ll receive an item cache, gold, xp, and +20 Hawezar renown.
