Whimsical Pie is one of the better sources of energy in Disney Dreamlight Valley. However, you won’t be able to make the dish if you don’t complete two specific quests for Simba in the Pride Valley update. Here’s the recipe for the meal, as well as where to find the ingredients.
How Do You Make Whimsical Pie in Dreamlight Valley?
Whimsical Pie can be cooked at the cooking station using the following ingredients:
- 1 Wheat
- 1 Butter
- 1 Dreamlight Fruit
Where to Find Whimsical Pie Ingredients
Wheat can be grown from wheat seeds or purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow for 3 Star Coins.
Butter can only be purchased from Chez Remy for 190 Star Coins. However, you must unlock Remy by completing “An Important Night at the Restaurant” quest in the Ratatouille Realm.
Dreamlight Fruit can be collected from Dreamlight Trees, which are unlocked after completing the following two quests for Simba:
- “Seed of Memories” (Sunlit Plateau at Level 7 friendship).
- “The Dreamlight Grove” (Glade of Trust, Frosted Heights, and Forgotten Lands at Level 10 friendship).

The first quest unlocks one Dreamlight Tree, and the second quest unlocks three more trees. Each tree produces three Dreamlight Fruits for a total of 12 fruits every day.
You can also sell Dreamlight Fruits for 40 Star Coins or consume them for 500 Energy.
How to Make Whimsical Pie
With the ingredients in hand, return to any cooking station to combine the ingredients. You’ll then have Whimsical Pie! You can consume it for 1,497 Energy or sell it for 324 Star Coins.
