Does Once Human Progress Carry Over From CBT3 to Launch?

Here's everything you need to know about whether or not Once Human progress carries over from CBT3 to Launch.

Playing a game during a beta period differs from playing during early access since beta acts as a testing phase where the developers try to iron out glitches, exploits, bugs, and quest fixes. In addition, only a certain number of people can play, meaning they’d have a severe advantage over those who couldn’t participate. So now, you’re probably worried about what will carry over to the official launch.  Here’s everything you need to know about whether or not Once Human progress carries over from CBT3 to Launch so you know what to expect when the full game is officially released.

Regarding what carries over from CBT3 and previous betas in Once Human, it’s important to note that only specific items will make the transition. These include the Lightforge Medals, the Scarlet Dragon cosmetic outfit (if you unlocked it through the current event), and the avatar frame (border for your character portrait) from CBT2 if you participated.

Any other cosmetics not listed here that you unlock by completing events in the CBT3 beta will also carry over. However, Starry Studio will wipe all other data, including levels and progression, after the Once Human beta ends and the official game is released.

In addition to what carries over from beta to launch, you might also wonder what happens to new seasons.

You can find out precisely what carries over to new seasons in Once Human by following these steps:

  1. Click the Evolution’s Call PvP Banner
  2. Press E to navigate to the Season Note tab
  3. Press F to open the Transfer Across Seasons menu

This menu will tell you that the following items will transfer to the new season:

  • Starchrom, Star Source, Mitsuko’s Mark, Stellar Planula, and Active Sproutlet
  • Equip blueprint, Blueprint Fragment, Weapon Accessory, and Mods
  • Furniture Formula, except for the Memetic unlocked part
  • Fashion Appearance, expression action, and Namecard title
  • Character pinch face data
  • Building House Blueprint
  • Main Line, Branche Line, Journey’s completion progress
  • Friends Relationship

However, your level, energy link, map and stronghold exploration progress, and season challenge task progress will not be carried over to a new season, so plan accordingly!
