Where to Get All Collector Pursuit Relics in Dredge

Ornate Key Relic Location

The Ornate Key relic is the first you’ll need to find. It’s located in the game’s first location, Greater Marrow, in the small chain of islands just southwest of Greater Marrow. Look between coordinates I8 and I7

Have an Engine and Light upgrade installed, so you don’t get caught in the Evening hours traveling this distance, which can be dangerous. Dredge doesn’t really tell you to do this, so it’s good to just keep an eye on your upgrades going forward.

When you approach the area, you’ll see either red particles or a red beam coming from the location of the Relic, depending on the time of day that you’re there. Simply dredge the red spot to obtain the Ornate Key.

Music Box Relic Location

The Music Box Relic requires you to travel to the Gale Cliffs. The Relic can be found between coordinates N4 and N3 on the navigational map. The area that has the Music Box is blocked by rockfall, and you need Packed Explosives to break through them.

Speak with the Hermit who resides in the Ruins; he has his own dock for you to approach. Then dredge up his Family Crest next between coordinates O3 and P3.

Once you’ve done so, return the Family Crest to the Hermit to meet his Retired Whaler brother, who provides you with the Packed Explosives to break through the barricade near the Ruins. You can now go and dredge the ruins for the Music Box.

Jewel Encrusted Band Ring Relic Location

The Jewel Encrusted Band Relic is located right in the middle of the Stellar Basin. However, you’ll quickly realize that the region is dominated by a giant sea monster, and if you try to enter the center, your ship will be destroyed.

To deal with the monster, you need a Repulsion Machine, which is provided by a Researcher found in the Old Fortress (D5). She’ll ask for a Glowing Octopus, Firefly Squid, and an Aurora Jellyfish.

You’ll need to fish at night in the blue glowing fishing spots for the Octopus and drop a Trawl Net at night for the Squid and Jellyfish. You can purchase a Trawl Net from the Starlight Pontoon (E2) if you forgot to bring one.

Once you obtain the fish, return them to the Researcher. Then go to the Abandoned Research Outpost (G4) and collect the equipment she asked for. Return to her once more, and you’ll receive a Sampling Device, allowing you to fish in Abyssal Fishing Spots, and a Repulsion Machine for the Abandoned Research Outpost, which, when active, will scare away the sea monster.

Activate the Repulsion Machine and head to the center of Stellar Basin to dredge up the Jewel Encrusted Band.

Shimmering Necklace Relic Location

Head to the Twisted Strand next and locate the Airman at his Camp (between coordinates E13 and F13) to obtain the Shimmering Necklace. He’ll have you fetch his Mortar pieces, one of which is found in the Northwest corner of E13. The other is in the Northwest corner of G14.

Next, he’ll have you craft three baits to eliminate some sea monsters. Make sure you have a Mangrove Fishing Rod for this next part.

  • First Bait
    • Gar x1: Caught with a Mangrove Rod at any time of day.
    • Grey Mullet x2: Caught with a Trawl Net or Coastal Rod at any time of day.
  • Second Bait
    • Catfish x1: Caught with a Coastal Rod at Night.
    • Grey Mullet x1: Caught with a Trawl Net or Coastal Rod at any time of day.
  • Third Bait
    • Longfin Eel x2: Caught with a Mangrove Rod at Night.

Return the fish to the Airman before they go bad; we had the best luck doing it over the course of a few trips while using the Haste ability.

He’ll craft you three bait for the monster traps and mark the trap’s locations on your map. After the traps deploy, be sure to retrieve the carcass from the trap for the Airman.

After you’ve successfully slain all three monsters, the Airman will retrieve the Shimmering Necklace from the final carcass you turn in.

Pocket Watch Relic Location

The Pocket Watch Relic location is found in the Devil’s Spine. This is the final questline for The Collector Pursuit, and some actions could affect the ending you receive.

Once you arrive, head to the Ancient Temple to receive the required Pursuit from the Fanatic. You’ll be asked to retrieve Fathomless Flames from Stone Shrines that are now marked on your map.

You’ll need to catch fish that require a Volcanic Rod or Trawl, so be sure to have one installed. Here’s what you’ll need to catch for the Stone Shrines:

  • Pale Skate: Caught with a Volcanic Trawl Net or Rod during the Day.
  • Ghost Shark: Caught with a Volcanic Rod at any time of day.
  • Two Abberations: Any two malformed fish.
  • Spider Crab: Caught with Crab Pots in the water near the Temple.
  • Squat Lobster: Caught with Crab Pots in the water near the Temple.

Once you have all three Fathomless Flames, bring them to the Temple’s statues. After doing so, the Fanatic will perform a ritual and leave the Pocket Watch Relic behind.
