Enshrouded System Requirements: Minimum and Recommended PC Specs

Wondering whether your rig will run Enshrouded? Here are the system requirements for minimum and recommended specs.

The next exciting open-world survival co-op game is definitely Enshrouded, and it’s coming on January 24. Its blend of ARPG combat, voxel world-building, and crafting may have you as hyped as I am. If so, here are the Enshrouded system requirements for minimum and recommended specs.

Can You Play Enshrouded on Your PC? All Enshrouded Computer Requirements

First off, I dug around a bit and found that Enshrouded is running on Keen Games’ own, unique voxel-based engine. This allows users to change every voxel in the game to suit player creativity in construction. With this in mind, I thought that the game would have steeper requirements, but that isn’t the case. If you have a decently modern machine, you’ll enjoy Enshrouded just fine in Early Access.

Enshrouded Minimum System Requirements Detailed

Enshrouded PC Specs Broken Down

Almost every gaming PC runs the standard Quad Core CPU or higher with 16GBs of RAM, so Enshrouded is quite accessible in that department. As far as the GPU is concerned, you’ll need at least a GTX Series 10 with 6GB of VRAM or the AMD equivalent.

When I tried it during the closed beta on a rig close to the recommended specs, the game did have some optimization problems, and I was at 30 to 40 FPS. However, that’s an issue that Keen Games should be able to fix once they’ve collected plenty of optimization feedback via forums.

Other than gaming hardware, a stable internet connection is a must, of course, as in any cooperative-based online game. If you’re using Wi-Fi, I would recommend reaching at least around 15 to 25 Mbps on a speed test for an enjoyable experience. Ideally, you should use a wired LAN connection for the best performance.

That’s everything we currently know about Enshrouded system requirements in terms of minimum and recommended PC specs. Keep an eye out for the game coming on January 24. For Enshrouded content, check out our article on steam deck support for the game.
