Not only are we getting an Avatar Elements event in Fortnite this Spring, but we’ll also be able to enjoy Coachella right from the comfort of home with a Fortnite x Coachella event. During this event, you can collect many new items like cosmetics, musical instruments, and songs. Here are all the details!
When Is the Fortnite x Coachella Event?
The Fortnite x Coachella event starts April 11, 2024, and will celebrate the two weekends of the festival all the way until April 22. During this time, new items and features will drop in-game, from cosmetics to purchases in the shop to new jams to rock out on the Jam Stage. Some items will cycle in and out at different times, so keep a close eye on the shop during this time so you don’t miss your opportunity.
Everything Included in the Fortnite x Coachella Event
The Avatar Elements event is taking place around the same time as Coachella, which means we will see more of a focus on that in Battle Royale modes. However, Coachella vibes will still be prominent in the Fortnite Festival mode.
Jam Stage
The Jam Stage is decked out with iconic Coachella decor from the Le Grande Wheel to the Spectra Tower. They also share the “out-of-this-world” space theme with bright, prismatic colors. There will also be a Coachella-themed video screen on the stage behind you, to Coachella-ify your performance even more. The stage will remain like this until update v29.30.
Coachella Cosmetics
Along with the Jam Stage’s party decor, you can collect various cosmetics for your character during the event. Starting April 11 at 8 pm EST, you’ll find some astronaut skins in the shop with matching accessories. Plus, some musical instruments you can hit the stage with.

These are all items you can purchase in the Item Shop from April 8 to April 20 using V-Bucks. They are all reactive to music in most modes as well, except LEGO Fortnite.
Along with these items, there will be a special collab with artist J Balvin. His special cosmetics will show up in the shop on April 18 at 8 pm EST and stay around until the end of the event on April 22.

Coachella Emotes
To celebrate the lead artists performing at Coachella this year, they feature several emotes with their songs. These unique dance emotes will also be in the Item Shop, starting April 11 at 8 pm EST.

- Rebellious Emote featuring Doja Cat’s “Paint The Town Red”
Coachella Jam Tracks
Coachella is all about music, so, of course, Fortnite is throwing in some brand-new Jam Tracks to enjoy during the event. From April 11 to April 18, you can perform songs from a ton of different Coachella artists by purchasing the tracks in the Item Shop. Here’s a list of all of them:

If all these amazing themed items aren’t enough for you, check out some Creative Maps during the event to get in on the party further. You’ll have a limited time to stock up on your Coachella goodies, so save up your V-Bucks and get them before April 22!
