Relics in Honkai Star Rail are important items because they add tons of helpful buffs to your characters. Some focus on increasing damage for specific Combat Types, while some restore HP or increase speed. With that in mind, you’ll surely want to seek out the very best Relics to go after. Below, we’ve ranked 10 powerful 5-star Relic sets to hunt for.

Note that Relic Sets are divided into two categories: Cavern and Planar.

  • Cavern typs are your main sets.
  • Planar types are side sets that can be used in addition to your Cavern Relic Sets.

Best Cavern Relic Sets

Passerby of Wandering Cloud

With two pieces of this Cavern Relic Set, outgoing healing is increased by 10%. The bonus conferred by four pieces is immediately recovering a Skill Point at the beginning of battle. Healing abilities are already scarce in HSR, so being able to boost that healing is a huge bonus.

Musketeer of Wild Wheat

Two pieces of this Cavern Relic Set give a 12% ATK increase. Four pieces increase SPD by 6% and Basic ATK DMG by 10%. Musketeer of Wild Wheat not only boosts damage, but the speed increase can result in more attack turns.

Champion of Streetwise Boxing

Two pieces from this set increase Physical DMG by 10%. Four pieces boost ATK by 5% for the rest of the battle. This effect can stack five times for a total of 25%. This can result in a fairly significant ATK boost, especially during longer fights like bosses.

Genius of Brilliant Stars

The bonus from two pieces Genius of Brilliant Stars is a 10% Quantum DMG increase. Four pieces means attacking enemies with a Quantum weakness ignores 25% of their DEF. This gives Quantum characters an initial damage boost made stronger against enemies already weak to their attacks.

Knight of Purity Palace

Two pieces increase DEF 15%. Four pieces of Knight of Purity Palace increase the max damage of wearer shields by 20%. There aren’t many 5-Star Relic Sets that enhance support abilities, and having bigger shields can be a lifesaver against boss attacks.

Best Planar Relic Sets

Space Sealing Station

Space Sealing Station gives you +12% ATK. However, when the character’s SPD is 120 or higher, you get another 12% ATK bonus on top of that. This combines well with the Musketeer of Wild Wheat Cavern Relic Set, and it’s a powerful 5-Star set-up for your damage dealers.

Fleet of the Ageless

You get a 12% Max HP increase from this 5-Star Relic Set. And when your SPD is 120 or higher, all allies get +8% ATK. This is one of the few Relic Sets that provides a bonus to allies instead of only the character wearing the set.

Celestial Differentiator

This Planar Set confers +8% to Crit Rate. But more importantly, when your Crit Rate is 80% or higher, Basic ATK and Skill DMG both receive +20%. This can give your damage dealers a decent boost, and this is on top of their Cavern Relic Set.

Talia: Kingdom of Banditry

With this Set, you gain +20% Break Effect. If your SPD is 145 or higher when you enter battle, your action advances forward +50%. This means that you can attack earlier and work towards stunning enemies with Break quicker.

Inert Salsotto

This is another +8% to Crit Rate Planar Relic Set, but when your Crit Rate is 50% or higher, both Ultimate and follow-up ATK DMG get a 15% boost. Not every character has a follow-up, but this damage boost can add up throughout a battle for characters who do have one, like Himeko.

There will certainly be more 5-Star Relic Sets added in the future, but these are some of the current best Relic Sets among both Cavern and Planar options. We have more guides on our Honkai Star Rail guides page available, such as how to redeem Twitch Drops and how to get Stellar Jade.
