LEGO Fortnite will have you harvesting materials until the end of time. So, when trying to speed things up a bit, an item dupe glitch can be the perfect solution. And we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to duplicate items easily in LEGO Fortnite.

How to Duplicate Items in LEGO Fortnite Explained

There are plenty of things to keep you busy in LEGO Fortnite. Sometimes, harvesting and replacing items is just not ideal. Maybe you’re in a pinch and need just one more berry for a potion recipe. Whether it’s items or food you’re trying to replicate without the work, you’re in luck. I discovered a couple of ways to get more items easily.

How to Dupe Food in LEGO Fortnite

When it comes to duplicating plants for food in LEGO Fortnite, it couldn’t be easier. Once you’ve got Garden Plots, you can farm some matured seeds quickly and easily. Here’s what to do.

  • Craft a Garden Plot
    • x2 Soil (dug up with a shovel).
    • x1 Fertilizer (found near farm animals like Chicken).
  • Place the Garden Plot.
  • Plant your seeds of choice.
    • Seeds can be crafted from Fruit or Vegetables at a Grain Mill (x20 Knotroot Rod, x20 Granite Slab, x3 Shell).

Notably, this glitch only works with uncooked foods and requires seeds. Once the seed is successfully planted, punch the plot with empty hands (don’t use a weapon). The seed will begin dropping mature plants when you punch it, and I usually get x4 mature plants this way. Once the plot breaks, it will drop all of the materials to craft a new Garden Plot so you can repeat the process.

You’ll want as many seeds as you can get once you get past the introductory portion of Survival mode because you’ll need to craft potions at a Juicer to explore all biomes safely, which will take plenty of fruits and veggies. This item dupe glitch is perfect for getting to the things that truly matter instead of grinding.

How to Dupe Materials in Stations

Food is useful, but we all know crafting materials are what packs a punch in your progress. Thankfully, you can easily duplicate items at crafting stations as discovered by Youtuber Beau. Here’s how to do it.

  • Empty out your inventory.
  • Equip a Pickaxe.
  • Collect x10 of any material (Granite, for example).
  • Place all x10 of the material into a crafting station (the Stone Breaker, for example).
  • Break the crafting station with your pickaxe.
  • Leave the lobby immediately.
  • Load back into your world.

I tested out this glitch with x10 Granite and the Stone Breaker. When I loaded back into my LEGO Fortnite world, my Stone Breaker was completely intact, and I had x35 Granite, and x20 Knotroot bonus in my inventory. Suffice it to say, the glitch is worthwhile, for as long as it remains unpatched, that is. You can perform this glitch at any crafting station with its respective materials.

Repair Tools Glitch in LEGO Fortnite

While the seed glitch is useful, I find the tools repair glitch to be the best exploit in the game. Tool durability is one of those things that can really slow down progress, and take up space in your inventory because you’ll need backup tools. Thankfully, we’ve got a full guide on how to repair tools in the game here.

This glitch is the ultimate time saver because harvesting and crafting backups of all tools is a time killer and I’d much rather be spending time exploring the wilds of LEGO Fortnite.
