Vampire Survivors offers many different weapon evolutions, and when you’re playing the game for the first time, it takes time to discover and memorize each one. In this article, I will proudly present one of the strongest unlockable weapons in the game: Crimson Shroud. See below how Laurel’s evolution works.

How to Get Laurel in Vampire Survivors

For Laurel’s evolution, you will need Metaglio Left and Metaglio Right. By default, Laurel is available from the moment you install Vampire Survivors. You just need to be lucky enough to get it as you level up.

There is a character that has Laurel as a starting weapon, but you’ll unlock it later; stay tuned until the end of the article for more information on that. Now, let’s review the process of unlocking Metaglio Left and Metaglio Right.

How to Unlock Metaglio Left and Metaglio Right in Vampire Survivors

To unlock Metaglio Left and Metaglio Right, you must first beat the Holy Forbidden stage and obtain the “Yellow Sign” relic at the end. Then, at most of the levels, Metaglio Left and Metaglio Right will start appearing as items you can just pick up. However, they will be (usually) at the left and right “edges” of the map. If you don’t want to go on a marathon around the stage, there’s a solution. You can use the Arcana VIII – Mad Forest to reel these to you.

How to Unlock Crimson Shroud in Vampire Survivors

You will unlock Crimson Shroud by picking up a Treasure Chest when Laurel, Metaglio Left, and Metaglio Right are at their maximum levels (7, 9, and 9, respectively).

Crimson Shroud is your ultimate shield in Vampire Survivors. It deflects some damage back to your enemies, and most importantly, you can only take up to 10 damage per hit. Every damage amount above 10 will simply vanish. This is important if you wish to beat Red Death (the Reaper) in Vampire Survivors. With Crimson Shroud, Red Death cannot one-shot-kill you.

How to Unlock Divano Thelma in Vampire Survivors

Divano Thelma is a character in Vampire Survivors, which has Laurel as a starting weapon. It’s unlockable after you make your first Crimson Shroud. The unlock cost is based on the amount of characters purchased so far, so I can’t name the exact price.
