If you’ve seen the fast travel icon on your map but are wondering how to use it, you’re not alone. I was curious about the system, too, and not being able to use it was quite frustrating. Here’s how to fast travel in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown: How to Unlock Fast Travel

From the first time you reach the Haven and for a while throughout the Forest area to the far right, you’ll notice a Fast Travel icon in your hub in the upper left. However, you won’t be able to use it no matter how hard you try (believe me).

Fast travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is unlocked about 20% into the game, once you reach the end of the Lower City level and unlock the first fast travel station. This happens while going through the Sacred Archives to the Upper Citadel.

Where to Find All Prince of Persia Fast Travel Locations: How Fast Traveling Works

You’ll find the first fast travel node in the Lower City after getting the bow, beating the Manticore, and progressing through the entrance below the Manticore path. Continue straight to the left and overcome some platforming puzzles until you reach a Wak Wak tree. Then navigate further to the left of it. You’ll find a destroyable Time Sphere that will reconstruct a fast travel point.

Each fast travel point in the future will be found in this spherical state and flash purple when you’re near it. You can use it to travel back to the Haven, and you can teleport between any future fast travel stations you find. Teleporting isn’t yet possible from any location on the map, just from these stations. You also can’t travel to Wak Wak Trees.

Haven

This fast travel point is located in the top left corner of the Haven though its doors are locked until you find another station and travel to this one thus opening the doors from the inside.

The Depths

The Scrapper’s Hideout fast travel point is found just under the room where you enter to meet Scrapper for the first time.

The Shallows fast travel point is just to the right of the Wak Wak tree.

Upper City

As you progress through the Upper City you’ll eventually reach this massive room. This fast travel point is located just before the zipline elevator in the upper left when moving from the elevator switch.

Lower City

This is probably the first fast travel station you’ll find naturally by reaching the end of the Lower City before your first Vahram encounter. Once you find the Wak Wak tree of the latter Lower City area simply continue to the left to find it.

Sacred Archives

This fast-travel station is located before the Sacred Achives Wak Wak tree found in the far left of the area. In the room with the tree, you’ll need to climb the pillar and the station orb will be at the top.

Maybe Ubisoft should’ve removed the fast travel icon in the Haven before you unlock the travel system just to avoid confusion. But that’s how to fast travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
