How to Achieve All Endings in Withering Rooms

There are a total of four different endings you can achieve in Withering Rooms. You can earn these endings by performing different functions in the normal game and New Game +. In addition, you’ll earn four different achievements when you get a specific ending.

How to Achieve Ending A in Withering Rooms

To achieve Ending A in Withering Rooms you must side with the Filthy Wretch when given the choice. In this ending, you’ll become the Queen of the Dream and restore the Dream realm to its former glory.

How to Achieve Ending B in Withering Rooms

To achieve Ending B in Withering Rooms you must side with Margaret Blackett when given the choice. In this ending, you’ll help end the Dream realm and will be returned to the normal world.

How to Achieve Ending C in Withering Rooms

To achieve Ending C in Withering Rooms, you must travel to the bottom of the Cholera Clinic and fulfill the Night Mother Disciple’s quest.

To finish the Night Mother Quest, you must complete the following tasks:

  • Start the Night Mother Quest: Head to the Upper West Stairwell and look at the roof.
  • Night Mother’s Ring: In Chapter 2, solve the Gatehouse Puzzle. In Chapters 3 & 4, you must purchase from Tomos, located in the Kitchen.
  • Night Mother’s Doll: Defeat all Upper Balcony enemies and open the treasure chest.
  • Night Mother’s Amulet: Defeat all Cemetary enemies and open the treasure chest.
  • Night Mother’s Disciple Outfit: Loot this item from a skeleton in a room to the east of the valley cave.
  • Night Mother’s Blade: Complete all Blackett House quests.
  • Finishing the Night Mother Quest: Return to Lara after beating the final boss in Chapter 4.

In this ending, you’ll kill Robert Blackett and bring his Idol Tainted Heart to the Lara, the Night Mother Disciple.

How to Achieve Ending D in Withering Rooms

To achieve Ending D in Withering Rooms, you must beat the New Game + boss, then travel to the Church of Burdens through the door in Central Nowhere and complete the quest there (this is considered the true ending).
