How to Get Paint in Echoes of the Plum Grove

Upgrade your house in Honeywood using paint!

You need a lot of resources to survive in Honeywood. Unfortunately, it’s not always clear where to get them, or how to craft those you can. If you want to upgrade the house on your farm, you need to know how to get paint in Echoes of the Plum Grove.

Echoes of the Plum Grove: How to Find Paint

Certain items can’t be found on the island or made through crafting. It just so happens that paint is on that list of items, which means you need to purchase imported paint. Imported items are delivered by ships that come to the harbor every weekend. However, this means that you only have a few chances each month to find paint, and the stock is limited.

Visit Ships in the Harbor

On Saturdays, go into town and then south to the harbor. You’ll find a ship that’s docked there with a few crew members on board. Go onto the ship, then up the stairs to talk to the captain, who’s the only crew member you can trade with. This is how you find imported and rare items that you generally can’t get through other means. So, check for paint in their inventory. There might be a couple for sale, or there could be none available this time. If there’s none available, you need to wait until next weekend and check again when another ship arrives.

Some players report that they had the best luck at finding paint during the middle weekend of the month. I, on the other hand, have found the most paint during the first weekend. As such, it seems like when it has a chance to pop up varies from player to player. Since it doesn’t take long to travel using the signposts, it never hurts to check the ship each weekend.

That’s how you get paint in Echoes of the Plum Grove. While it’s easy to end up rushing to get upgrades, aspects like imported items force you to slow down your progress. But from here, check out our Plum Grove guide hub for more content as we work to expand it.
