How to Get the Aang Skin in Fortnite (& Avatar State Aang)

You can get Katara, Zuko, and Toph right in the Fortnite Item Shop during the Avatar: Elements event. Still, if you want to become the Last Airbender himself, you’ll have to start mastering the elements. Here’s how to get Aang and his Avatar State style!

How to Unlock the Aang Outfit in Fortnite

Unlike the other Avatar skins in Fortnite, Aang can only be unlocked via the Event Pass on the Avatar tab. However, to do so, you’ll need to upgrade the pass to Premium.

The Premium Rewards track costs 1,000 V-Bucks to unlock (which might cost you real money if you haven’t saved up your V-Bucks from the Battle Pass). The good part about this premium upgrade is that you’ll unlock the Aang Outfit immediately after you upgrade. Plus, it comes with a LEGO Fortnite version as well.

After upgrading to the premium track, you can also work on earning the Avatar State Aang style for the outfit. This is a bit more of a challenge, though, since you’ll have to earn Chi and work your way through the tiers.

The Avatar State Aang is the last reward in the Premium Rewards track, meaning you’ll need to unlock all the previous rewards before claiming it. Similarly to unlocking the Appa Glider, you must complete Avatar Elements quests to earn Chi points used to unlock them. Thankfully, it doesn’t matter what quests you choose to complete since all of them reward you with Chi. However, getting to the very end of the track will require completing a decent number of quests.

If you’re wondering when more quests will be available, here are all the release dates:

• Water Chakra Quests – April 12 at 9 AM ET.
• Earth Chakra Quests – April 15 at 9 AM ET.
• Fire Chakra Quests – April 18 at 9 AM ET.
• Air Chakra Quests – April 22 at 9 AM ET.
• Light Chakra and Sound Chakra Quests – April 25 at 9 AM ET.

Keep working through the quests to earn Chi and reach that special Avatar State Aang before the event ends. On the way there, you’ll also pick up plenty more amazing Avatar rewards, like the Momo Messenger Back Bling.
